let them cool before you take them off mat
I tried to take the macarons off the mat before they cooled and that was a mistake, they stuck. Once they are cooled then they came off easily. Love this product

Easy to clean and use for a beginner
Still working on just HOW to make macarons but even messing up they came right off this thing and barely needed more than a single pass over with a soapy rag to clean it. Works just like I had hoped.

Good product but can stick.
This is great for keeping my macarons the same size. The one thing I did notice here unlike my other silicone items this is not that nonstick. Had a batch just caked on but a little bit of spray solved that. It does affect the rise of the cookies. It's not enough to bother me and stop using it but for those thinking of it you may want to stick to parchment paper.

Helpful to know
Makes nice uniform feet on the macarons. After baking/cooling off, I pop it into the freezer just for a bit and this makes removal much easier.

Impressively awful
So this is the second time I’ve tried making macarons. The first time went brilliantly. I used parchment paper over my silicone template sheets. I decided to try some molds this time for better feet and more uniform cookies.This mold was just....wow. So terrible. Out of my three silicone trays this was the only one that stuck. And I mean STUCK. At first I thought maybe I hadn’t cooked them long enough. So I put them in until they were just this side of burned. Still stuck.Maybe they hadn’t cooled enough. I left them alone for over an hour and a half until they had long been room temp. Still stuck.I tried prying them up with a thin pie server. Didn’t help.I finally resorted to putting them in the freezer. Still didn’t help.I can’t imagine this will be easy to clean and I’m not even going to try because I’ll never use this again. It’s going right in the trash still covered in the cookies it ruined.Thankfully my other trays did just fine or this would have been a disaster.

Have to be a little more advanced to use them
If your not good on making them the right size.... they will over lap the border and make them stick and ruin the cookies. Also if the get to big they spread looking not shaped perfectly.
