Emigre Men's 100% Cotton Striped Seersucker Suit

I got this for my husband because he always runs warm and loves his other seersucker suit. I was happily surprised with the great quality, and it fit him great too! Just had to hem up the pants. The color is really nice and subtle with the tan and white, while still having the distinct seersucker look. Really great price as well! I had a hard time finding them elsewhere except for 3x's the price! Definitely would buy again.

This suit is a perfect fit and feels very well made. The seersucker fabric is lightweight, breathable, and ideal for warm weather. I had the legs tapered during alterations, which gave it a clean, modern silhouette while keeping the classic Southern summer vibe. I’ve received a ton of compliments both times I’ve worn it. Definitely a standout piece.

Nice material — great color. Good suit for the low price. Arm holes are a little tight, but ok with a well-fitting shirt or tee. Ordered a size 42 Tall/Long jacket (which did not need alterations) and got the 36” waist and unhemmed pants (which did need alterations: $50. Not bad). Would recommend.

I only rarely review my purchases, but this suit exceeded my expectations completely. Delivered promptly, well packaged, as soon as I unpacked it I knew it was a winner. Suit sizing is difficult person to person, and I was amazed that it worked so well for me as I am not an easy fit. Quality of fabric and construction are far superior to what you would expect for the price. I needed a certain look for a garden wedding, and this nailed it. The greeter at the event said to me “great suit! So appropriate!” Which meant a lot as it’s the first time I had worn a suit in 15 years. Back in the day I had many fine suits; I routinely paid 4X more for a suit 30 years ago than this one. The tan stripe is very handsome; I also ordered pink as it’s trending - it’s very pink! That went back, but if you are trimmer and younger than me the pink could really work. Overall 5 stars, for sure. I may only wear it the one time, sadly, but that one time was perfect.

Only received the pants the bag was open and Suit Jacket was missing.

Constructed well for a suit that only costs $126. As others had commented, some of the buttons were sewn on a little loose (which again, for a suit or even just a jacket at this price I am not overly concerned about). Like most suits, the pants come unhemmed / unfinished, so you need to take the pants to somebody to get them hemmed for length no matter what. So I just asked the tailor to re-sew all my buttons on while they had the suit. I am 5' 8" & 140lbs. typically wear a 30 to 32inch waist, 38S/39S jacket. I purchased both the 40S and the 38S. The 40S was OK (and if you like your jackets loose, or are a more muscular person go with the 40S). I like a more slim fit jacket, so I felt the 38S looked and fit better. The 38S came with 32waist pants, which fit me perfectly. l returned the 40S with no problems (free returns with Prime). I really only wanted the jacket, so the pants were a bonus. I wanted this as just a casual sport coat / summer jacket so I wasn't concerned about having the finest high quality liner, etc. I'd buy this again at this price.

I was pleased with the suit. The jacket was a perfect fit while the pants ran a bit small for the size. Since they also required cuffing, I just had the seamstress let out the waist a bit, and now it is a perfect fit. Looks good, and the quality seems to be durable. I expect to get several years wear based on what I've seen so far. I would definitely buy additional suits from this vendor.
