Moira Chrome Light Shade (004, Summer Dream)

This is a beautiful eyeshadow! Goes on easily with clean fingers & makes brown eyes pop! I get compliments when I wear this.

Summer Dream 004 shade is a fantastic, inexpensive, dupe for that super trendy Blushing Lizard shadow that Half Magic makes! The shadow itself feels cool, almost wet to the touch, like a cream-to-powder, and I just applied it with my fingers. I did have some fallout problems throughout the wear test, but I didn't prep my skin at all (for testing purposes). I think some of those issues could definitely be solved by using a basic primer or grippy glitter eyeshadow base. Still, the color of the pigment lasted a whole movie and dinner date. The glitter pigment particles ended up all over my under eye and cheeks, but as previously mentioned, I think that could be mitigated with better prep, and it kind of looked cute anyway. Even with the glitter fallout, I'll buy this over and over again. It's the perfect shade for a simple single shadow eye look that still gets a ton of compliments (my niece literally told me I had "beautiful, mermaid eyes" 😭)

I LOVE the shade Summer Dream from Moira! I did an attempt at a swatch to try to show the color shift. The color itself is kinda of a soft reddish brown with a little blue/green iridescence (trust me, it’s a lot prettier than it sounds haha). I like to do a little concentrated dot of color in the middle of my eye lids and blend out. It gives a light touch of color, nothing too heavy🙂 I swatched two other colors, on either side, to give comparison. -1st color on the left is Half Magic’s “Blushing Lizard” -2nd color in the middle is Moira “Summer Dream” -3rd color on the right is Moira “Birthday Girl”
