A great seaweed
This dried seaweed is easy to use and full of flavour. It reconstitutes to useable seaweed after about 10 minutes of soaking and then the water you have soaked it in should be disposed of and the seaweed rinsed to remove excess salt. After this, fantastic to stir fry with or for any other use in cooking. You only have to use very small amounts as it significantly swells - so great value for money and an important healthy addition to your diet.

Seaweed Great product
Great product, it has be soaked before use as far too hard. I found the best way to use it is to blend it to small pieces then just soak for a couple of minutes and this brings out the texture, if using in a stir fry you can just soak it then throw it in. Great product and great value for the money would definitely recommend, I will be purchasing more in the future.

Great value
If you like seaweed this is the one to buy. A handful soaked in hot water for 3/5 minutes goes a long way. Fry up some onion and garlic alongside a dash of your favourite sauces and stir in your rehydrated seaweed. This is so moorish.

Yummy
I bought this to make ramen. I used it by placing in hot water for 3 minutes and it does swell up loads. I later searched recipes for dry wakme seaweed and you can actually use this for many recipes including seaweed salad. I can't wait to make more recipes with it. This will last so long. I used a couple of pinches and it was enough for 4 portions. It is recommended you don't eat seaweed too often or you will overdose on iodine and could cause kidney problems. As I love the dry crisps version as well, I may use this one once a week or so. I'm really pleased with this purchase.

Last ages
It's a really good quality product, smelling and tasting the best. Good packaging which you can seal. I've been using for more than a year and still I have almost a half because it grows a lot when added to water as it's dehydrated. Also for soups, noodles or any kind of meal you need pretty small amounts because it's enough for a pure taste. Don't use too much because it can be a bit untasty. Highly recommended.

These go a long way
These go a very very long way! I tested these in a little bowl of hot water and put in a pinch enough to cover a little of the small bowl and covered in hot water these really expanded after a few minutes. These would make a wholesome addition to soups and broths.

very big bag
The bag is very big, and 500g of dried wakame could feed an army! The bag is resealable, so easy to store, but if you are not using it a lot, you might want to transfer it to a more air tight container. This wakame comes from China, and is of good quality. It expands tenfold, 1 teaspoon of this seaweed will fill a whole mug when expanded. I tend to take a small amount out of the bag and crush it to a tiny pieces before using it to sprinkle over miso soup or ramen bowl.
