Hamilton Beach Digital Programmable Rice Cooker & Food Steamer, 8 Cup (4 Uncooked Count) with Steam & Rinse Basket, Stainless Steel (37518)

Simple of use (I only ever touch two of the buttons), feels pretty sturdy, and not as ugly as some other rice cookers out there. A perfect serving of rice each time.

First up, the delivery was super quick and the packaging was very good. The product arrived safely with everything intact inside the box. I had used another rice cooker before which was a basic one with just 2 settings; cook and warm, the biggest problem I had was rice sticking to the base of the bowl and eventually the nonstick layer peeling off. This Hamilton Beach rice cooker has so many cooking options that I end up steaming my veggies on the provided tray while cooking my rice or boiling eggs along with the rice. I cook a variety of things, mostly grains using this cooker; oats, barley, rice, multigrain rice, quinoa etc. This cooker has never disappointed me, is easy to use & clean and in over a year if it’s use, the nonstick layer hasn’t ever chipped or caused the rice to stick while warming. I would highly recommend this device to anyone looking for a good rice cooker.

I haven't had this rice cooker for a long time yet so I cannot say how well it will hold in a few months from now, that being said I can say it's a very nice rice cooker for its price. Someone mentioned the rice was sticking but I've not had this happen once. It could be user error or maybe just a defective rice cooker but mine is doing just fine. The non stick coating is working quite well. I've also not ever had any liquids spilling over and leaking from all the times I've used it so far. Yes, it is small. It's 4 cups UNCOOKED (which means it doubles to 8 cups once cooked). That being said, look at the price. You won't get a huge fancy steam cooker for that price. It is decently sized and working well for the price you pay. I'm quite happy with the purchase personally. Also, the steam basket is white. It is normal for certain foods to stain. This happens with anything you use to store or cook certain foods. I like to batch cook my food but this will not be the rice cooker for that, which is fine. I'm happy with how it's getting the job done so far.
