I've been using the Shintenchi Electric Height Adjustable Desk for a week now, and I couldn't be happier with it. The assembly was straightforward, and the desk feels very sturdy once put together. The 55 x 24-inch surface gives me plenty of room to work with both my monitor and laptop, and the splice board design adds a nice, modern touch to my workspace. Easy to assemble quality material definitely worth the money

Very easy to put together and worked flawlessly. I don't LOVE that the top comes in 4 pieces, but as long as the standing mechanism works, I could potentially change it out if I get totally sick of it. I got the 71in and honestly it's huge. I probably could have swung for the slightly smaller one and been equally satisfied. Will update if something crazy happens.

Easy to assemble, looks nice. The desk top is not as expected, the joint between the desk top does not align properly. Once you attached the top together do not open otherwise the screws will not work due to the board quality. There was a damaged to one of the corner as well.

Love the desk, only issue I have is that the holes pre-drilled for the connecting brackets to hold the 4 top wood pieces together were off by about 1/16th of an inch so had to put all the screws in at an angle. : ( but other than that I couldn't be happier. Great price and desk works great.

Buyer beware. The listing is misleading. Nearly every photo on the Amazon product page shows the desktop as one solid piece. Only one image appears to show it made from four sections, but the actual product is a desktop made of four separate melamine panels. The listing gives the clear impression that you're purchasing a one-piece desktop, which is not what you receive. The melamine is nothing like the photos. Instead of the smooth, glossy finish shown in the listing, it has a dull appearance and feels extremely thin. I'm a fairly handy person, and assembly took me less than 30 minutes. The instructions are generally easy to follow, but one frustrating oversight is that while every part is identified by a letter in the diagrams, the metal pieces themselves are not labeled with matching stickers. If you're going to identify the parts by letter in the instructions, they should also be labeled on the actual components. Because the desktop panels are so thin, the screws cannot adequately pull the four sections tightly against the support brackets. As a result, it's difficult to get all four panels flush with each other, leaving uneven seams across the desktop. The biggest problem is the support for the 71-inch desktop. Right out of the box, before placing anything on the desk, the center was already sagging by almost 3/4 of an inch. I confirmed this with a 5-foot level placed across the top, which clearly shows the dip in the middle. Placing the level against the underside of the desk also shows that the metal support beam itself is bowed, not just the desktop panels. The only way I can see to correct the problem would be to fabricate a stronger replacement support beam. While a half-inch of sag may not sound like much, this is how the desk arrived before any normal use. My concern is how much more it will sag after six months or a year of supporting monitors, a computer, and other typical office equipment. The motorized height adjustment operates smoothly and raises and lowers the desk without issue but I've only put two monitors on it so far. However, considering all of the other quality and structural issues, I have serious concerns about how long the lifting mechanism will last. I have included photos documenting each of these issues so other buyers can see exactly what I received. If I knew before purchasing this desk what I know now, I absolutely would not have bought it.
