Dk Eyewitness Travel Italy 2015 (DK Eyewitness Travel Guides) Paperback – 15 Sept. 2014

I used this to help plan our vacation to Sicily and it has been very useful in explaining areas and places to visit. It has lots of photos as usual. I also purchased the Insight Sicily guide (which is also good) and there was nothing obviously left out of the DK guide.

I do enjoy the Eyewitness guides, as they make everywhere seem so appealing and yet they give realistic advice on all the aspects of travel.

Have been using DK Eyewitness guides for several years and have never been disappointed and this Sicily guide is no different.Colourful and easily digested informaton about the country, culture and traditions together with some useful recommendations.However, having now also tried and compared to the Lonely Planet Sicily guide, I must say that the LP proposal was more useful albeit less visually pleasing.

This proved invaluable during our stay and gave plenty of information on all the places we visited. Although we only stayed in Palermo it was a great help with everything from msueums to restaurants. Recommended.

Always buy Eyewitness guide books. Much more informative with many illustrations.

I looked at many travel guides to Sicily and several seemed to be out of date, but not this one. Highly recommended and to the usual DK high standard.

As always with DK guides, full of pretty pictures and nice ideas but ittle practical information. I used this together with the lonely planet, more as a planning then a doing book.

Our recent holiday to Sicily was enhanced considerably by the Eye Witness Book. It is great theat you can relive the memories afterwards by referring back to it.
