Q: will it work for alopecia

Honestly, that is a question that should be directed to a medical professional. The product cannot claim very much more that would be gained by the better known Minoxidil brand. As you probably know, Minoxidil is the ingredient that makes the claim of regrowth. In this formula there are other ingredients that foster the effect further. Have no illusions; I use it and consider it a good product; I believe the oily property tends to assist the product to remain on your scalp longer, along with the other ingredients. I would say that it is beneficial for the follicles that remain alive and productive; I cannot say what effect it will have on those that have already withered. Perhaps, the manufacturer will chime-in and add to or correct what I have stated here.

The oil is very light- I would use it on my eyebrows

Yes it does but the results are slower unlike hair in the head

No, I am using my second bottle and I see RESULTS. I mainly use it around my edges. But I also use it in the top center where I am thinning. It's not 100% biotin oil. But it does work for me. My hair is pretty thin but getting better.
