just right
I use this hook to lift a tea infuser out of the tea kettle. The hook is long enough and the handle is long enough to prevent my fingers getting burned. Must be the 5th hook tried, this one is a winner.

Wood Carving Hook Knife is an amazing tool.
I really like this product and am excited about trying to carve new items for my household. This tool is made well. It’s easy to handle and is sharp enough to carve different types of wood that I have tried so far. I am very pleased with this product and would recommend it to others.

Great knife for the money
I'm just a beginner, but I've been happy with this knife so far. The handle feels good in my hand. I've read reviews that the blade was dull, but that wasn't the case for mine. I'm still experimenting with it, but for the price it has exceeded my expectations!

Great, Sharp Knife.
High quality wood carving hook knife and extremely sharp. Probably the best one I’ve ever owned. Would highly recommend and buy again.

High quality steel knife
The one and only thing wrong with this hook knife is that you have to sharpen it before testing it. Because it’s good quality steel, it’s hard to sharpen. It is worth the work. The handle is a bit big, but I have x-small hands.

Great Tool
I was impressed with the quality of this knife. I have little experience with carving spoons but this tool and some instruction I found on YouTube made it simple. Would highly recommend!

Stay away from this one
I was looking for an inexpensive hook knife to add to my collection. I was very disappointed in this one. The blade was not just dull, it was very dull. The copper ferrell is loose as well. You can spin it around on the handle. I went to work and am trying to sharpen it, I hope it works out, but I am not going to hold my breath. In fact I think I have better things to do, like watching glue dry.

Not worth your time
Several reviews said this came extremely sharp, but the only sharp part was the point at the end of the blade. Otherwise, it was very dull. The “bevel” is nearly rounded over, and the blade has no cutting potential. It would be very difficult to sharpen yourself, and I imagine only a few people could get a good result. The handle feels nice in my hands, but the copper ring at the top is free spinning and only held in by some overhang at the base of the blade. I’m very disappointed in this knife.
