Great hammer drill for the money
I used this heavy for 3 days straight as a mini hammering tool to removing pebblestone outdoor flooring. I really put this to the test. I used it in a way it was not designed for. The red light is on for the brush replacement. They include a second set of brushes. Includes a small tub of grease for the gears. Well made. I've only used it as a hammer chisel. I don't think you can get better for this price point. If I burn this out, I'll buy another. German quality.

Pleasently Suprised Thus far **Update**
I was a bit wary of making this purchase as it is a pretty low cost rotary hammer drill and of a brand I had never heard from before. But I figured for the price, what the heck I'll give it a shot. This wasn't meant as a tool for a professional, just a homeowner. I was needing to move some pier posts on a redesigned deck. As luck would have it, the new design required several of the old concrete piers to be removed. I used this product to chip away at this very old concrete and removed these piers. It took a while but the tool did in fact get the job done. It seemed to have enough power and I experienced no malfunctions of any kind. I have not used it in any mode except the hammer at this point but I'm satisfied with the purchase. The carry case is nice and contains the bits/attachments. I wish it was variable speed, which I imagine would be more useful in the hammer drill mode, and that the power cord was a bit longer. But overall, pretty happy at this point.**Update** 04-07-19......So continuing on my deck project. I used this tool in the hammer drill mode to drill 38 holes while attaching a ledger board to concrete. I was driving 1/4" x 3 3/4" Red Head concrete screws. This tool made drilling all these holes a piece of cake. If the tool breaks tomorrow I feel I have already got my monies worth.**UPDATE**07-08-19.....I have just increased my rating to 5-stars from the initial 4-stars. I continued on my projects by replacing a fence and then a retaining wall. Again, I needed to bust concrete from around old fence and support posts. About 25 of them. Once again this tool did the job. Obviously not as quickly as a jack hammer but worked well enough to get the old concrete busted up and out from around the posts. I suggest frequently adding grease when using as much as I have since it seemed to go through it rather quickly. But again, this thing has way out performed my expectations.10-24-20: Well, I think I have finally beat this thing into the ground. It's throwing grease everywhere so likely blew a seal or something. This happened while doing a demo on a tile shower. Wrapped a rag around it & finished the project. While I think it's pretty much toast, my rating remains the same. For what I was able to accomplish with this tool, at its price point, I consider it money well spent. I will purchase another.

FIRST DRILL RECEIVED DID NOT WORK, BUT PROMPT AMAZON REPLACEMENT WAS AMAZING
I purchased the rotary hammer drill for a home project mounting bolts in a concrete wall, deciding to skip a rental tool. Unfortunately, the first drill I received worked for 2 seconds when I plugged it in and tested the trigger--poof of ozone smell and that was it. Called Amazon and they sent me a replacement the NEXT DAY, and arranged for shipping back the first defective drill.Second drill worked fine--very substantial/heavy drill, and included drill bits make it a great value. Easily drilled 1/2" holes 4 inches deep in filled block wall and mounted ancho bolts with epoxy as planned.

Excellent first impression - 5 stars for now after first use
The product seems to have quite good quality of build out of the box and this review is on the first use. The drill is quite powerful and easy to use and did the job of chiseling a 5" hole in a 4" thick concrete wall very quickly and easily. The kit came with the essential bits, which was quite convenient and added to the already excellent value for money. This is my second VonHaus purchase after my orbital sander, which also did not disappoint in both value and performance. I have given this drill 5 stars for durability based on the sturdiness of build, operational performance and power, with the intention to update if there are issues as I go along, so no news is good news.

Works great, seems very well made
I have never had a hammer drill before, but in installing a well filter system, needed to drill lots of holes in concrete walls. This little gem does the job very well, compared to trying to use a regular drill it is probably 1000% better. It has a clear set of instructions, seems very well powered, and drilled a good 2 and a half inch holes in my wall in a very short time. Comes with everything, including a little tub of grease, drill bits and a chisel bit. Still have probably another 20 or 30 holes to drill as I do the plumbing and bolt my pressure tank to the floor, so we will see about durability but very impressed with overall quality and power in this tool. I would highly recommend it for routine household work, not sure about professional use, but I would try it. Also have not tested the chisel use yet, but it seems it would make tile removal a breeze.

worked well for our project
Used this to break up concrete from stones in an old retaining wall that had collapsed. Worked better than expected and was easy to handle.Kit includes a number of accessories, including a bit of grease, so you can use it right out of the box and not have to worry about purchasing additional items.Have not tried it as a drill yet, but that's not what I bought it for.
