After buying various fuel pump rebuild kits that either don't have the regulator or the regulator is not the right size, it was refreshing to pop this in easily and see success.

WR250R ripristinanto con questa valvola. Arrivata in tre giorni lavorativi. Prezzo regalo rispetto al ricambio Yamaha.

One day the XT250 wouldn’t start. Or sometimes it started but would quickly sputter and die. I only found one person with a similar problem on Reddit, and decided to throw the part at it and see if it works. If you are even remotely mechanically inclined, this is an easy fix. You just take the gas tank off, remove the pump hose and electrical connection, take off the 6 hex bolts holding the fuel pump out, pop out the fuel pump, and this is the small part being held in with a couple clips at the top. Out with the old and in with the new, done. Bike started right up and runs like a top now.

Works like a dream! My 2018 WR250F wouldn’t start all of a sudden and after several hours I finally narrowed the issue down to the fuel pressure regulator. Conveniently, Yamaha does not sell this part, but this one does the job! Keep in mind that fuel pressure may be higher than stock with this regulator and may affect how it runs. I have not noticed any issues so far. Would recommend 100%!

Yamaha OEM regulator is not available unless you purchase full pump assembly (~ $350) so this saved beaucoup bucks. This Quantum regulator is only slightly shorter but it fit & sealed with no issues. Yamaha's regulator is designed to maintain 34.8-36.3 psi fuel pressure whereas this one read 55 psi when I performed a fuel line pressure test. Yamaha claims a higher pressure will cause your fuel mixer to run rich, but I haven't noticed any performance issues and every forum or review I've read online hasn't revealed any negative issues from anyone yet. Great customer service also when I called to make inquiries.
