Bought three (3) of these bad-boys to scare a flock of geese off our backyard. Actually worked for a while until they realized the dogs weren’t a threat. That said, other 4 legged critters like DEER and FOX keep their distance! Construction is excellent. Mounts on a spring base which has really held up well in very windy locations!!! Can flaps and gyrate wildly without visible damage. That said, the WOODEN STAKE can snap easily and all have been replaced with aluminum (Home Depot). These will last years if stored properly over winter. Our same-sized black dogs have grown fond to them🤣🤣😎..

Product did not work for me at all. Yes is was breezy and the decoy was moving. Within the hour multiple geese were within a few feet of the decoy. $70 for a piece of cardboard is a ridiculous price. I am returning this.

While the deer remain, you can create a deer free zone using the decoy. My goal was to keep deer out of a portion of our yard and it did work. The bear and birds knew it wasn't real and went near it but the deer kept their distance and walked a wide path around the area. Trying one near a garden this year...not sure the temptation won't wear down the deer's concern.

This was part of a saving grace, to keep geese off our beach and dock, along with a make shift fence! It must be quite realistic bc a neighbor’s dog ran from across the street & was barking at it! Our granddaughter thought we needed to ‘pet the puppy’! I definitely would recommend, it’s great quality and has held up thru the last 2.5 months of wind and rain!!!!!

The quality of the product is top notch! But, I live in a neighborhood with three lakes so we have "Super Resident" geese and a couple hours after putting it out there was some eating right next to it. If your geese are used to dogs and being around a neighborhood this might not work for you even though it is a great quality product.

Don’t waste your money - it doesn’t work. This photo is day 1 and it didn’t deter anything. The product is made of very cheap materials. It’s corrugated plastic and the wood poles broke the first and second day (you get 2 wood poles). The metal spring is the best part. The geese aren’t affected by it at all and keep coming back.

This simple decoy has kept all the geese out of our yard and away from the bird feeder areas. I saw these on some soccer fields around us so I tried it, as long as you keep the stake up a little above the grass to allow it to spin with the wind, it works great.
