This stuff truly works! I kid you not! It works great on me and I have oily skin and have had acne all over since I was a kid and I am now a 30 year old woman who still suffers from acne breakouts. Of course I just get acne here and there, it's not nearly as serious as when I was a teenager. I have been going to the dermatologist regularly since I was young and I was always using Retin-A, and as a teenager Retin-A was affordable with insurance. However, as an adult Retin-A is not covered by most insurance companies and is hard to get a hold of so I had no choice but to use over the counter products most of the time as an adult. To this day I still never put oil on my face as I was told by my dermatologist and everything that goes on my skin has to be oil-free AND comedogenic (does not clog pores) and (I try my VERY hardest) to not touch my face because of all the bacteria on one's hands, but I had a hard time finding something affordable and over the counter to combat my breakouts. Salicylic Acid is not strong enough and Benzoyl Peroxide seems to make my skin produce more oil and (I know how its supposed to work...it's supposed to bring the oil and dirt out of your skin so the pimple is not so deep and it actually brings the pimple to the surface so it can naturally work itself out and off of your skin) when the pimples come to a head on my skin I am WAY too tempted to pick at my skin causing way more acne than I had in the first place so I was kinda stuck. I am able to get prescription acne medicine such as Adapalene which is expensive with insurance and you also have to include the cost for the specialty doctor visit making it unrealistic to keep in my bathroom on the regular or even use all over my body so when I discovered Sulfur Ointment I was so happy to see how effective it is in keeping my skin under control, not only with acne but with other random minor skin problems. I discovered it by accident when I was trying to keep bugs off of me I was told that sulfur ointment will keep all kinds of bugs off of me....I later found this particular brand by accident and read the reviews and saw that it is said to be an effective acne fighting tool and the reviews were RIGHT!! I was soooooooooo SOOOO HAPPY TO FIND THIS because I can order the 3 packs for so cheap and they last a while and I can actually apply them to the breakouts I sometimes get on my back and chest and arms without worrying about the cost of having to use so much of this product regularly and all over so without this PARTICULAR BRAND of Sulfur ointment I don't know what I would do. It works fast in comparison to other products. It really doesn't dry out my skin unless I use it daily for a while and don't use moisturizer and go in the sun alot. It does not have any adverse side effects and it actually drys out the pimples as opposed to creating this huge process of pulling the zit out from under my skin--like Benzoyl Peroxide--making me extremely inpatient and end up popping the zit and making it worse....it's affordable. It doesn't sting. And when I do end up popping zits besides myself and better judgement this ointment clears that mess up instead of allowing it to get worse. I have so many good things to say about this product I could go on forever. I get this all the time and always order the 3 pack and it has had amazing results and has saved me so much money on dermatologist visits as well as other products. I am so happy I finally found this stuff because it has saved me from alot of crying and hopelessness with this acne curse that has followed me the majority of my life and beyond (considering my mother who is twice my age still suffers from acne---obviously mild acne but still!). This product is amazing. I have oily skin with fungal acne and rosacea. It is clearing up my skin, and dissolving deep pimples that were not clearing for months. Sulpher is very drying, so I would recommend going slowly at first until you know how your skin will respond. I’m not sure why people say it smells. It’s fine.

This is a GREAT product and does work for getting rid of acne, however I have ordered this product 5 or more times now and find it to be very inconsistant-sometimes it smells very strong of sulfur and works excellent, sometimes the sulfur smell is very faint and I feel the product still works but not as well-other times the container is not filled to the top however this time my container was overflowing almost BUT there is hard dried clumps of the product through out it. So when I am applying it I will have to take tweezers and remover the clumps or tey to catch them before the product is on my face. I love this product so I will continue to buy it, it is just I never know what version of it I am going to get so I always buy the smallest size because I do not want to get a large one and be stuck with a version I am not completely happy with.

I absolutey LOVE this product! It has helped with my breakouts SO much and softens te skin as well. I only use on the spots where I am breaking out and I will say, this combined with my other skin care and red light products... its exceptional. will forever buy.

Works well enough, but your face will WREAK for hours if not the rest of the day.

This mask is great, although I recommend using it along with other masks. It is slightly warm when applying and has a barely perceptible sulfur smell. It does leave my skin just a bit dull, but that is easily counteracted by using moisturizing/brightening masks/products. This is not a catch-all, it is for acne. It does not brighten or leave your face glowing like other acne masks might, and it's ability to reduce redness is minimal, however it does a truly fantastic job stopping acne in it's tracks. It doesn't necessarily heal acne that's already present, it sort of just stops it from getting worse. It reduces swelling a little bit, as well, and just sort of makes already-present acne less noticeable and slowly, slowly makes it go away. Prevention is it's magic - it even works on hormonal acne, and if any bumps do make it through they come to a head quicker and much smaller and less red. Hormonal acne that would usually take a week or more to go away are gone in 1-2 days! I use this every day for ~10 minutes and it doesn't dry out my face - although, I started off using it only every other day and worked my way up to every day. It feels sort of like grainy Elmer's Glue. The graininess sort of feels like a mildly abrasive exfoliator, but I don't scrub with it when applying or rinsing off. There was no immediate, obvious difference in my skin, no "wow! moment, except that the acne that I had when I started using it was immediately less painful and noticeable. That acne never came to a head and slowly just disappeared. Like I said, it's prevention that makes this mask so wonderful: While it didn't immediately get rid of the acne I already had, it has prevented probably around 85-90% of my acne from resurfacing, and any bumps that do begin to present themselves disappear in a day or two without becoming noticeable to anyone but myself. Works well when alternated with Aztec clay mask every 3-4 days.

Works wonders for perioral dermatitis. I’ve tried a million products and this is the only thing that has actually cleared it. Also saw a giant difference within the first two uses. Before and after photos of 48 hrs.

The product was very harsh. It did help with the blackheads, but I must’ve got some within an inch and a half from my eye and my eye has been burning for 30 to 45 minutes. I wouldn’t recommend I used a washcloth to wipe everything off my face and obviously I got some too close to my eye, but it is the pain is not going away.

January 2022 was the first time in my life I had acne and it took me some time to get to know its type. It was fungal acne and with some research on the internet, I found Nizoral shampoo. I used it continuously from February up until March-end. It definitely worked wonders and reduced fungal acne big time but new acnes were still coming every now and then. Again some research on the internet helped me discover De La Cruz's 10% Sulfur Ointment and after a lot of contemplation (as I don't like to use many products on my skin, it's sensitive), I ordered this. It has been close to a week using this and I have observed a significant improvement in my skin. No new acne has appeared so far. It does dry the skin so I have refrained from using it all over my face, instead, I apply it on the acne head.

Excelente producto. Funciona de maravilla, desinflama y ayuda a que se “absorban” los granos horrible e incrustados en unos cuantos días. El olor que tiene a azufre es fuerte pero con sus excelentes resultados es totalmente tolerable. Además es económico y el bote dura muchísimo.
