Best countertop oven, xtra wide and perfect.
Absolutely perfect. I only use my countertop oven and when mine was running slow and not being very reliable, I started shopping and nobody was mentioning that this oven toaster oven convection oven holds a 16 inch cooking sheet and casserole dish. I have no complaints about this oven. it’s perfect. I don’t care that It has a little ding at the end of the cooking cycle. Not annoying at all. It doesn’t go off beeping for five seconds. The knobs are not hard to turn. It is very easy to see the controls. Do not hesitate to buy this because it’s perfect.

Outstanding 8-slice convection oven, a true kitchen workhorse
This BLACK+DECKER 8-slice convection toaster oven has been a workhorse in our kitchen and I couldn't be happier with the purchase. The extra-wide interior easily fits a 9x13 baking pan, a whole 12-inch pizza, or eight slices of toast simultaneously, which is a game changer for family meals. The convection fan circulates heat evenly, resulting in consistently well-browned baked goods, perfectly crisped fries, and golden-brown roasted vegetables without hot spots. We use it to bake, broil, and toast almost daily and it has maintained consistent performance. The included bake pan, broil rack, and toasting rack are all solid quality and well-sized. The temperature settings are accurate and the timer with auto-shutoff provides peace of mind. The stainless steel finish looks great on the countertop and cleans up nicely. It heats up noticeably faster than our full-size oven and saves energy for smaller meals. An outstanding appliance at a very competitive price point.

Great Value and Plenty of Room, noise problem
I really love this toaster oven, for the amount of space you get for the price. It has much, much more room inside than any other toaster oven I've used, and it gives close to the space of a full-size oven without having to spend nearly as much. The only issue I've noticed is that the crumb tray makes a very loud rattling or vibrating noise while the oven is running. I did buy mine used, though, so I'm not sure if that's a problem with the model or just my unit. But I have to leave the crumb tray out because of it.

It's true what everyone say's about this oven--spacious--good for baking
I've considered and researched getting a toaster oven for sometime. My oven hasn't been working well and it may be up in the air as to finding parts or replacing it with all the trade uncertainty at this time. I looked at many ovens, whew--there are so many! I liked the way the French door ovens looked, but decided it wouldn't be best for baking and keeping an even temp. The height was an important factor, as I want it for baking. I finally decided on this Black & Decker oven--it had the most height(11.5")--and I think it could even be another inch or two taller. Other than for cookies I've been baking on the lowest rack. This has two rack levels, and its very spacious--I fit a 10 x 15 bake sheet in it easily. The whole oven is not very heavy, but does look well made. I found the turn the oven on timer a little awkward, I'll have to adjust to that. The cord was also a little short, so had to plug into a surge cord and thats been working OK. The oven did loud vibrate sometimes( my rattling pans?) not sure--but the oven has been working great. I've been using this oven often for baking homemade pizza, apple empanadas, rustic olive rolls, etc. I haven't tried yet many of the other possibilities, like lasagna, enchiladas, pies, etc,--I haven't even baked a cookie yet. So far this has been exceeding my expectations. I will need to learn adjust the temp settings. It does seem to follow recipe guidelines as far as temperature goes. I wish it had 5 min increments on the timer setting. You have to turn the timer on to turn the oven on--I still find that odd. Finally I wish the directions were better and maybe some recipes. I'm mostly pleased with this oven, and can see why its so popular. Other than some minor oddities, its spacious, fairly easy to use, and its very cost effective--Whats not to like?

I wouldn't open the box if it were free!
My wife wanted a countertop oven which would take a 9x13 pan. We went online and read review after review and they all claimed this was the best one on the market. As of writing this review, we've had four of these same toaster ovens. Right out of the box, they are great, after daily use for couple of months, not so much. All four failed due to thermostat problems. At first they would hold the set temperature, then they slowly failed and would not reach the set point or would not maintain the set point after the food to be cooked was placed in oven. The first one lasted almost a year. Black+Decker's customer support was great, at the time. We called the support line, explained the problem and were told to cut off the end of the cord, take a picture of the plug showing the code stamped into it, email the picture to customer support and within a week, we had a new oven at the door. The replacement (oven number two) died within in a few months so we called support again. Same procedure as last time, cut cord end off , take and send picture, new oven (third one) arrives a few days later. Third oven dies from the same problem just outside the two year warranty from the first purchase. Now we have to buy another oven. Just after three months in, the forth oven has the same problem as the others, so we call customer support, but the rules have changed. Now we have to box the thing up and send it to a service center and hope someone will fix it and send it back. Nope, no more Black+Decker anything being bought around here. Footnote - I dissembled the forth unit and found the screws holding the thermostat assembly together to have backed out causing the unit to be unable to reach or maintain temperature. I tightened the screws and it worked properly for about a month and it did again. Trashed it after that.

6 years later, still awesome and still a great price!
I bought this toaster oven in October 2018. One of the dials is starting to act up... after 6 years!! That says a lot. That it is under $100 as of right now, it's awesome! I will note a thing or two that I have disliked. My pizza pan does not fit. A 12" pizza fits but add the edges of a pan and it doesn't. I bought a mesh type tray with a 1/4" edge. A 9 x 13" pan or tray will fit if it doesn't have large edges or large handles. This is very deceptive though. The pan will fit but it leaves no room for circulation increasing cooking time at least twice as long. (I ran out of patience and turned on my real oven.) There is a hook to keep the rack from falling out but if you aren't a little careful, the rack will come out. And, if you put the rack on the higher level, there is no hook. Issues I have had with ALL toaster ovens: They don't cook quite as fast as a real oven. They are not easy to clean although the crumbled tray makes this one easier than others. The bulbs are almost impossible to clean. Good things about toaster ovens: They take less energy by far!! Broiling is less messy by far. No preheating necessary. THIS toaster oven is easy to use. It has both timer and stay-on. It has a temperature dial which is pretty accurate. It wasn't hard to find nice pans that fit appropriately. It toasts as well as our toaster although it takes longer because you are heating a large space with the elements much further away than a toaster. It doesn't get hot enough outside to burn if you bump it. Don't put things on it or touching it! It is hot. I am hoping this is still available when mine actually dies.

Large Capacity & durability
I LOVE this toaster oven. The interior capacity is really large - I can fit a baking dish with ease. I use this instead of my oven all the time. I've had it for 9 years without issues, and I'm buying a new one today because the old one finally croaked.

Underrated Transformer . 500w instead of 1500w. Absolute cheat
This product works on a 110V AC source . Amazon is supplying it with a local step down transformer from 230V to 110V to make it suitable for Indian conditions . The transformer supplied is not working . I made a complaint to Black & Decker who sent a technician and he rectified the transformer on his second visit . Within the first use , the main MCB tripped indicating overload or short circuit in the transformer . Black & Decker refuses to service / replace the transformer saying it’s not their product . It’s just been a month since delivery and issue isn’t getting resolved . Will Amazon come forward to sort out the mess ?

Good product. Works fine.
Works well. A little heat comes off the top. So make sure you have room around. 12 inch pizza fits. 12x16 inch tray fits. 17 inch doesn't fit. Manual timer and temperature settings may not be precise but close enough. I bought an oven thermostat for it. I have a portable digital timer. Manual controls don't get affected by heat. LCD displays don't like heat at all.
