Perfect Little Toaster Oven
I purchased this toaster oven, and it has worked out great. It heats up quickly, is easy to use, and doesn't take up a lot of counter space. We've used it for everything from toast to reheating leftovers, and it gets the job done without having to turn on the full-size oven. As a bonus, my niece ended up loving the box and claimed it to store all of her little trinkets and treasures. 😊 For the price, this is a solid toaster oven that does exactly what it's supposed to do. Simple, reliable, and convenient for everyday use. I'm very happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable toaster oven.

Works great!
I've had this toaster oven for about a month now and, after doing some scavenger hunting on the internet for instructions and a little trial and error, I think it's going to pretty much replace my regular gas oven. Let me save you a little frustration as to the lack of instructions, especially pertaining to the convection feature. If you select the "Bake" setting, the convection feature is activated. There is no way to turn it off, which is actually fine. What I have discovered is, if I'm baking baked goods (cookies, muffins, etc) you need to decrease the baking temperature by 25 degrees or reduce the baking time by about 25 %, or both. If you reduce the temp, start checking for doneness about 3/4 of the way through the baking process. If I'm baking a casserole, which contains more liquids or the like('cream of' soups, eggs, cheese, etc) I use the recommended temperature in the recipe and let it cook the full amount of time. I made a tuna noodle casserole last week and it was perfect using the recipe exactly as written. I haven't used the broil feature for meat yet, so I don't have a point of reference for that feature and, as I'm single and just make toast in a regular 2 slice toaster, I also don't have a review for the toast feature (I don't need 8 slices of toast at once.) What I LOVE about this oven is being able to use my regular pans! I had a smaller toaster oven before and got frustrated by having to buy special pans for it. I ended up buying a lot of disposable aluminum pans. With this oven, I can use all of my regular pans (I have several Pampered Chef ones that I wasn't able to use in the old toaster oven) except for a couple of my larger baking stones. So far, everything has baked so much more evenly than in my full sized gas oven that I'm absolutely thrilled. So, as far as the way the oven functions and the results I've had when cooking with it, I am very satisfied with this oven. The only negative comment that I have about it is that the instructions are almost non-existent. An individual shouldn't have to do 2 hours of research online and watch youtube videos to learn how to properly use this product. They really need to include an actual instruction manual, with a few recipes included for each feature of the oven, instead of a big sheet of pitiful basic instructions that are written in about a dozen different languages. I think that most of the negative reviews that I've seen could have been avoided if this were the case. Does the outside of the oven get hot? Yes, it's a toaster oven, not an insulated range, so move it away from the wall. The crumb tray slides into the slots underneath the OUTSIDE of the oven, it doesn't go inside and I believe this is the reason that so many people are saying it never gets hot enough. The convection feature comes on and stays on when baking, there's no way to shut it off. All of this could should be explained in an actual instruction manual. My last comment pertains to the price. At $67 in November, this oven was a great value. Less than a month later, it's $96!!!! Had it been this price originally, I'm not sure I would have purchased it. So, my review is A for the the oven itself, D for the lack of instructions and the $30 price hike just before Christmas.

Dials are hard to read
The toaster oven works well. It’s great for cooking salmon., warming up pot pies, and a few other things. The only thing I don’t like about the toaster oven is that you can’t see the numbers on the timer or the other two dials. You have to use a flashlight.. It’s too bad that the three dials don’t light up that would be a win-win. Anyway, it’s a nice little toaster oven.

Great small oven/toaster
Works great as toaster or oven for small amounts of food. It cooks a small pizza and even a one layer cake. It is a small size that easily fits on a smaller counter space, and it is easy to clean with a removable crumb tray. The timer bell is a great accessory to know when your food is ready. The only addition I made was a sturdier cooking tray which I have used for making cookies. I use this unit daily and it is a great energy saver since I rarely need to use my stove any more. I highly recommend this simple, easy use appliance.

Good gadget
Excellent unit! Works just as advertised for a long time, now. Previous oven by HB died in a month of light duty and no help whatsoever from maker. Don't know about B&D customer service-haven't needed it! This is a keeper.

It burned the crumb tray top clear to the back! of the tray pan. Purchased May 9th lightly used.
This oven toaster can do many things besides toast! It has even heat. The toast comes out beautiful. It is important to read all the instructions! Yes, it gets hot! It needs a space around for ventilation! (Do not place aluminum down on the crumb tray OR even any other liner. ) This is very important. The crumb tray will rinse nicely to keep it clean. It is heat resistance by itself. It is beautifully designed Toaster Oven. Fits on the counter with four or more inches around it for ventilation. Well priced. :)

Short Term Disposable Solution
Works well for what is essentially a disposable product at a budget price. I’ve owned two over the years, and the lifespan seems to be about 1–2 years before issues start popping up. On mine, the door came off the hinge, the “leg” broke, and the temperature became unreliable—it eventually started burning my toast and other food. It also is hard to keep clean and looks worn after just a short time.

toasts evenly, has a small footprint on the kitchen counter
This is my third Black & Decker toaster oven. The others have given me long years of service (starting in college), but have eventually broken down (not bad for something costing about thirty bucks, though). Anyway, I've been happy enough with their performance that I went back for this one. My husband uses this more than I do and he is thrilled with it. We keep a loaf of bread in the freezer (so it doesn't grow mold) and my husband has been using this to thaw and toast bread for snacks like peanut butter toast after work. (We use Nature's Own whole wheat bread, which is on the smaller side in terms of slice size, and we generally only put two slices in there at a time.) Two slices sit nicely in the middle of the rack with room in the front and back. And the toasting is perfect -- not too much and not too little, and with no frozen or soggy parts in the middle of the bread. (We also use this with hamburger buns when we make veggie burgers -- we keep those in the freezer too, and toast them to thaw/warm/improve the texture.) I think it helps that there are heating elements on the top and bottom -- no flipping toast in the middle, which also shortens the toasting time. We are not trying to make pizzas or bake anything in here, we pretty much just use it as a toaster (we don't have a pop-up toaster as we appreciate the versatility of an appliance like this that isn't limited to flat slices of bread; we have also put bagels in here). And it is great at that. We sometimes also use this to reheat roasted vegetables that we are eating as leftovers; it heats up more quickly than the regular oven and doesn't add to the overall temperature of the kitchen much, which is important in Georgia when it is in the high 70s and 80s. This *is* a metal box with heating elements, so it is going to get hot. We pull it out from under the cabinets when it is in use and we make sure there is nothing around it. Then we unplug it and let it cool before pushing it back into place. These are common sense safety precautions we'd practice for any toaster, of course. (We have never set any food on fire with this. If you do, unplug the toaster and let it cool -- don't open the door or you are providing oxygen to the fire, which will only make it burn longer. I would not suggest starting this and walking off, though. It is not a regular oven. You need to stay in the kitchen and look at it from time to time to make sure everything is OK.) This has a small footprint on the counter (much smaller than the convection ovens that seem to be taking up the toaster aisle at local big box stores) so you can still work in front of it. It has a nice brushed stainless finish (that doesn't match our kitchen at all, but whatever -- if you have stainless appliances, this will fit right in with them). The bottom tray is easy to remove for cleaning and you WILL get crumbs in there if you use this often. We do usually line the little pan with foil if we are going to use it, as this cuts down on cleanup. This has little rubber feet and doesn't slide around on the counter and the cord, while relatively short, is a reasonable length for most kitchen counter arrangements. Overall, we are happy with this and would purchase the same one if we had it to do over again.

Very poor service in India
My oven worked fine for a couple of weeks. I found that the height is a little less though, like croissants touching the led on top. Because of that, the led stopped working and I am now struggling to get it fixed. The local representative has kept the product for a month and says he can't do anything. I have to get help from Delhi or Bangalore. NOT WORTH the headache, frankly.

Standard toaster oven that works!
I’ve waited to write this review bcs I was uncertain about this product BUT it is fantastic. Simple and efficient kitchen staple for those of us who prefer not to have a microwave and a toaster or when you don’t need the big oven. It will smoke if you have too many crumbs at the bottom but I find the new design with the easily removeable catch tray so convenient and simple to wipe down - rather than my old model that opened from the bottom. This model is lighter than my last and emits more heat but it heats up evenly and warms up my food efficiently. I’ve baked sliced potatoes perfectly, warmed up pastries and leftovers. Toasting took time to get used too, start low and then try more time - I eat dark dense rye bread and half the time was a bit too crispy for my liking. The cord is shorter than I would like and as per other reviews it does click when heating up but you get used to it. I had my previous model for 15 years, I hope this one lasts as long.

Small but great toaster and heater
Let me get something out of the way first-THIS IS SMALL. 4 slices of bread *may* fit, but the bread slices will be touching each other and for some brands of bread-4 slices won't fit. 2 chicken breasts will be a tight fit. If you take out the bread tray, you can fit a small bowl in to heat, max 8 inches wide, 7 inches wide and 5 inches tall. Very easy to use-3 dials- one for heat level, one for time and the 3rd is well, not needed (middle one). A stop watch chime sound comes when it works and a small red light glows when it is ON. Heat builds up fast, 2 slices of bread toasts to a crisp in under 2 minutes flat. Body of the toaster gets warmish hot after 5+ minutes of usage. During initial use, a burning smell comes, this is normal apparently. Doesn't feel cheaply built, but built to a cost it is. If you need a small toaster oven that is simple to use, average built, cheap to buy, and easy on electricity consumption, would recommend this one.

Excelente Diseño y Desempeño
El tamaño fue el correcto. El diseño tambien, sobre todo la combinacion de acero inoxidable. En algun momento las instrucciones pueden ser un poco confusas, pero es cuestion encontrar el modo
