PEI works better for me than painters tape
I used this tape to hold down a PEI sheet to the build platform on a Wanhao Duplicator i3 3D printer. PEI works better for me than painters tape, kapton + glue stick, and buildtak! The tape is working well so far for me, but has some bad reviews. It sticks to itself because of the way it is cut from thicker rolls.I solved that problem by putting the tape in the freezer for a few minutes before unrolling it. The cooled tape is a little stiffer and doesn't stick to itself as much. I had to put it back in the freezer several times during the application process to keep it cool. It would help if the air is dry during this process - if it's very humid then you will probably have a problem with condensation and moisture under your tape.Good luck!

Works well for 3D print bed, beware removal and clean-up
Used to stick down some PEI for a print surface. A bit tricky to work with since it's so thin so you have to be careful when laying it down not to get any wrinkles, etc. Worked perfectly for bonding the aluminum print bed to the PEI and showed no signs of deterioration after several rounds of printing with heated bed turned up.Problem came when I needed to replace the PEI surface for printing. This tape does come off easy. After finally prying off the PEI surface, took me about an hour to get the glue residue of the aluminum bed. This was an hour of scraping, using a terpene based glue remover, naptha, misc other cleaners/disolvers I could find, and this tape resisted most and the whole process became a bit of a massive sticky messIf I use it again I'll probably use it as an adhesive between a glass plate clipped to the bed and the PEI, since then I could remove the glass plate and be able to clean it separately from the printer hardware, and should come off of glass easier than metal.Bottom line is this WILL stick down anything you want it to, but beware that clean-up can be a headache.

Great for attaching PEI to 3D printer
I used this tape to attach a piece of PEI to my 3d printer. This attaches very solidly and has worked great so far. My heated bed gets up to 140F and this has stayed attached with no issues so it seems very resistant to heat. This has worked out so great for me and I am very happy I switched to PEI with this tape. Highly recommended!

Poor QC. Some rolls are fine, some rolls are junk
Some rolls are clearly defective -- possibly how they're stored at the warehouse or how they're manufactured. I unroll 1 roll of this, fast or slow, work fine -- takes some practice to apply, but no issues. Next roll -- edges cling to the roll, and it unrolls uneven and totally unusable, no difference with roll appearance, same packaging. I ordered 2 -- one was perfectly fine, the other I tried a few feet, and I couldn't get to a spot where it looked like it would be OK. I guess buy 2 hope 1 of them is OK.

Very strong adhesive with many uses!
Easy to use. I have used this for many different things - used to replace the adhesive on pads that were no longer adhesive, for various repairs, to attach insulation pads to backs of wall plate covers that had camera wires coming through the wall and the opening was too large, etc. So far, have been happy with results each time I have used the tape adhesive.

Adhesive did not release cleanly from the backing
The edges of the adhesive did not release cleanly from the backing, creating blobs of adhesive that are thicker than the rest of the tape. This caused problems when attaching a thin PEI sheet to a flat aluminum bed on a 3D printer. Seems their slitting process, needs improvement. I had to find the blobs and remove them with an Xacto knife before adhering the PEI sheet. Did not quite find all of them.

Tape ruined itself trying to unroll it off the roll.
Terrible product. I tried to use it to put PEI onto glass and the edges of the adhesive stuck to the outside edges and it wrinkled itself as I tried to unroll it. The first 10 feet was OK. Everything after that was ruined. I didn't even have enough to finish the job that I bought it for, so after the product destroying itself on attempted application, I had to manually remove the portion that I did successfully get applied to the glass because I didn't have enough to finish the job. Absolutely terrible product.

Somewhat works, if you oversize tape a lot and trim the edges.
Well, I ordered 6" tape and result is identical with narrow tapes. Up to one inch on each side sticks to the cut edge, peels off as you are unrolling it and then clumps into uneven blobs. That makes 4" usable area on 6" tape. May be this is how it suppose to be, but then document that in description clearly. Ultimately didn't work for me and returned that tape.

Is It What It Says It Is?
I bought this to re stick something already stuck and then removed by the same specification 3M tape. It just so happened I had a small piece of the original tape remaining on the object, unpeeled. This tape is not the same. The thickness of adhesive is much thinner and the backing tape is also much thinner and the 3M printing on it is not as bright or well printed. The specification on both tapes is the same 3M 469 MP 200 MP Adhesive. My original tape was very heavy duty, this is not. Maybe 3M have changed the specification, maybe there are different types of 3M 469 MP 200 MP, I don't know. I'm not saying it's not genuine but the quality of the print on the backing alone makes me wonder. The other thing is that when I made my purchase there appeared to be critical reviews of this product complaining that it stuck at the edges as it unrolled, now this appears to be a new advert at a cheaper price and I'm the first to review it? I have uploaded a picture of the two backing tapes. My genuine 3M tape is on the left and the other? is on the right and the difference is plain to see. I would have returned this purchase for a refund but I had already used some of it before I realised the discrepancy in quality.

Great for 3D printer beds.
Used this to stick a PBC to my 3D printer Glass bed. I also stuck a silicon heater as well. You do have to be careful when peeling back the paper.

poor
I'm unsure if this product is genuine. Completely failed to stick as well as other 3m 468mp tape purchased recently
