I started using Addis, then bought a couple of Signature circs. Signatures are great, but are prohibitively expensive. I read on Ravelry that many users really like ChiaoGoo needles -- some even liked them more than the Signature needles. So I've been supplementing my needle collection.What I use them for: Anything that I want to knit fast, and lace projects.Pros:- Less expensive than Addis, and I like the cords on these better (plus I have a pair of Addis that have tarnished; no such problems with these so far)- Much less expensive than Signature needles- Nice sharp points- Cable doesn't kinkCons:- Not as pretty as Signature needles- Not great for slippery yarns -- the project will slide right offHead's up if you're using them: Single-ply slippery yarn does not work well with these. I tried knitting a Candleglow Scarf from the Sock Yarn One Skein Wonders book and just couldn't get past a few rows because the stitches kept sliding off. However, this is the case with any slick metal needles; some projects just require wooden needles.Happy knitting!

These knitting needles by Chiago are smooth, comfortable and the wire doesn't snag or crimp. I now use them exclusively in my knitting.

The very first circular needles I bought were horrible, and so I did some research on which circular knitting needles are the best for me. I wanted a long cord so that I would be able to use the magic loop for various sizes. well so far I love these needles and I cant get enough of using them every moment I cant wait to have time to get back to my project just because I want to use my beautiful needles. I will be buying more of the 47" fixed cabled needles in various sizes!!!! I cant wait to order more!

very flexible

These are the best circular knitting needles I've encountered, by far. The cables are great, no fighting with them, no dipping them in hot water trying to straighten them out. Needles are very tapered, great for lace. A delight, especially compared with the knitting needles available at the national chain craft stores.
