This was a pretty good value for the money for $16. I filled up three 5 gallon buckets of Coco. I’m not sure if you have looked at the price of a bag of pre-mixed coco but the cheapest bag I could find was about 30 some dollars and that’s barely enough to fill up one 5 gallon bucket so for 16 bucks I would say the size is amazing. Don’t be fooled by the size of the brick when you get it cause once you put water to it that thing’s gonna expand like crazy! It comes pre-washed in freshwater I like to buffer mine with cal mag and the plants absolutely love it. Their growth is exponential compared to dirt. there’s a lot of other cocos out there that have other fillers like wood chips and things like that this is 100% Coco husk ground down and compressed. I didn’t find any bugs. Any dirt just coco coir ..if you’re into the whole process of making your own medium for your plants and controlling your nutrients in a stable environment this is the way you wanna go I had a little bit of clay pebbles to mine just to help aeration and they work so well together.

Best coconut coir I've ever purchased. It absorbs water and shreds apart very quickly and easily, unlike most other products I've purchased that were labeled as coconut coir. Some of these products were probably peat moss, which takes forever to absorb water.I will definitely purchase this product again.

Absolute best bang for your buck! Also this is great quality coco. I have used many brands off Amazon and this is now going to be the only one I purchase. Other brands can come soaked in salt water which is really bad for plants. I was having to wash my coco heavily before using until I switched to this brand. Also it has nice large pieces which is great for drainage. It also has a minimal odor compared to some brands that will arrive smelling like an industrial site. Overall I'm super happy. I use it for my indoor plants and also for my cacti I use 50/50 perlite and this coco with a little sand or volcano rocks for a topping.

It's a good product and its clean no big chunks it's as good as any of the more expensive ones and its mycology friendly way cheaper and works great

I bought several of these and I am so sorry I did because coconut coir is wonderful. In each block I found several rocks. Granite, aprox 2" diameter and didn't order rocks. Compared to 3 other brands, this brand flat made me angry. Does not break down in a tub of water like other brands. It takes hours to soften, then you fight to break off chunks and rake/hammer! Obviously, can't return it
