Brilliant gadget!
My 6 year old who is AuDHD and is nonverbal too loves pressing these buttons and is slowy recognising which buttons to press to communicate. You can record your own commands on their too and any nonverbal child will love hearing your voice saying their name (my son presses the button of me saying his name). Kids/adults will also associate either actions or makaton signs to go with what is said when pressing the buttons so definitely a great gadget to have.

Great for non verbal children
My son is 7 years old with autism, global development delay and is non verbal. Really lovely item. Would love if it had more greetings and requests such as good morning, good night, although there is space to record your own message at thebottom

Worth it
This has been a good send for my son. He is autistic and will have periods of no talking. But with this he.is.still able to communicate if he chooses to. It is simple to use press the button that he wants to communicate. Simple things like yes, no, sad and so on There are also a row of buttons that can have a recorded reply. It definitely worth it as it helps him

Okay
Good selection of talking buttons. Good volume. Easy to record own voice. I purchased for my dad who has speech difficulties following a stroke. Unfortunately, the words that describe the button are too small for him to read. He won’t use it. Expensive for what it is- very plasticky, It feels quite cheap and not very robust.

Ok for now
A little expensive for what it is . Definitely needs more options though and maybe something to slide your own pictures in where you record as this feature seems pointless to a Sen child that needs visuals . Handy for my autistic child for now for basic needs

Perfect AAC Device
My daughter absolutely loves the Joyreal AAC device. It’s the first time she’s ever been able to say “I love you” using any AAC device—even compared to using an iPad—which meant everything to us. The device is easy to use and has made a real difference in her communication. I highly recommend it for non-verbal children.

Great Starter Communication Tool
It's a great start for my non-verbal daughter. She tested all the buttons a few times and then kept pushing the "Shower" and "Bathroom" buttons to let us know she wanted a bath. It took her all of 5 minutes to figure out how to communicate with it. She is still figuring out how to ask for snacks and prefers to open the fridge or bring us an empty bowl, but it's been a big step that she took almost instantly otherwise. She's been a lot less frustrated with us not understanding her now and it's only been a couple days. It's a huge improvement for all our lives. We will eventually need to splurge on an app with a larger vocabulary, but this device is great. We previously had pictographs and tried a communication board and while she seemed to understand them actually hearing the words from this gadget makes it easier for her to associate.

It's a very good device for children with learning abilities.
My son is having a good time with his device. Since we bought it, he enjoys it. He likes to spend quality time on it. So far, it seems like it's working very well for him. So I am pleased with the purchase of this device. It is very good for kids with autism and slow learning ability.

Very practical and handy device to communicate!
If you are wondering, you should buy it! We even took it to the Mayo Clinic and our speech therapist was impressed by how handy and affordable it was. It has helped my nonverbal 3 year old be able to communicate with us consistently for the first time! They took to it right away. It is easy to record, the buttons do require a direct push but it’s actually great for us because it’s intentional use and it’s super light weight. We love how we don’t have to charge it like a iPad because it’s batteries. We own multiple iPad as aac talkers that were way pricey, hard to get and too complicated to use. This is just the right amount to start. We are so happy to have this device that we bought two more for preschool use!
