How do you go about purchasing this product through insurance?

Work with the Kate Farms customer service group directly. They are great at trying to convince them of the medical necessiy- although my insurance company never covered it. I consider it my life-giving elixir as much as any treatment I've had. 80% of oral cancer patients die due to starvation and dehydration. Good luck!

What is the sugar content?

Hello! There are 20g of naturally occurring sugar in this formula, the same as a medium-sized apple!

My daughter has a feeding tube so I hadn’t actually tried it. I just tried it and it wasn’t bad. I didn’t take that big of a drink but I could definitely drink it.

How long is it good once opened for a feeding bag?

The formula has a 12-hour hang time, and is usable for 24 hours once opened.
