Fun in concept, poor execution. Younger kids (my child is 2) has to have the help of a adult to operate. The way the hair is pushed through the head holes is by crank, and Play Dough brand dough is too dense for the hair to be pushed through easily. Cleaning the holes is also tedious, and results in rice sized pellets of dough all over the floor. Yesterday the gears got clogged by the dough, so I'm unable to remove the head to clean out the dough, so I'll have to take it apart and see if I can fix it. The toy comes full assembled via screws, and I hope I can put it back together properly, as it's not meant for disassembly. The minion disguise hair cut kit is a much better option if you want to clean it out easily and allow your kids to play independently. No crank, only push down. Final thoughts: doesn't clean easily, becomes clogged on regular PlayDough, use homemade/softer play dough for ease of use, and gift to older kids with established fine motor skills. The Minion hair station is a better option all around.

Fun product but cleaning the playdoh out of all the little holes and grooves takes so much time. It’s also a little hard for my toddler to use on her own- very hard for her to get the playdo person off the chair again as they have to remember to wind the handle backwards etc
