I like the cool darkness, Do you?
I love it i have a big window gets a lot of the setting sun oh boy there wasn’t escaping that heat. I suggest watching a couple videos on how to apply i ended up using painters tape to keep it in place while i squeegee’d works real well keeping my living room cool and darker than it was if your a fan of bright light go with a clearer tint same goes for those of you who have a nice night view almost impossible to see out the window at night it reflects the light inside your house

Effective for tinting and blocking light
For the price it's a good value. Cuts light through the window by maybe 80%. Not all that easy to install perfectly, but neither do I have the experience or tools to do that right, so I can't hold that against the seller. All in all it does exactly what I bought it to do. Would recommend anyone wanting a perfect install to do some instruction video watching on youtube before buying. Not as easy as you may think. An arts and crafts precision cutter board would have really helped. I did a sloppy job of installing it and measuring, but I wasn't attempting to do it perfectly. I hotglued the edges just to keep them down and to keep ppl from picking at them. Looks perfect from the outside.

No More Baking in my Sunroom
I got the brown silver. It's a bit darker than I'd have liked from the inside, but as shown by the picture with my dog it did manage to lighten up more after a few days. Still really dark for what I had wanted. It might just be me, but the process of cutting this stuff was horrendous. I got it more for the heat repelling than the aesthetic, but it was so hard to measure and cut that it looks absolutely horrible by the time I got it on my windows. Actually attaching it wasn't hard at all. Spray window with ALOT of windex, peel the clear layer, slap the silver side on the glass. I skipped putting the clear thing back on the brown side because I found it didn't make a difference in the scratches really anyway. It doesn't come with a squeegee, but I used a credit card. Press firmly from center towards the edges the whole way around until all air bubbles and extra windex is gone. Easy peasy. The heat reduction works. My sunroom EASILY surpasses 100 degrees in a 70° sunny day. Now with the window tint it hasn't felt warm at all. My dog can sunbathe in the window for over an hour and his fur doesn't get hot to the touch at all now. I feel safe knowing my dog won't overheat while I'm at work and he's in the sunroom. The mirror effect isn't perfect. You can still see through it a little, so I wouldn't walk around naked inside if I were you. It makes a significant difference though in feeling like the apartment tenants next door are just staring at me when I'm in my sunroom or being nosey about my dog when I'm at work. You have to be right up against the glass to see Larry when he's sitting in the window, so it does a good enough job as long as creepers aren't trespassing in my yard.

Inconsistent but when it works, it works
Honestly, I got this money rolls. I got three hoping that they would work flawlessly but unfortunately, only one work too well and it took me a while to put them up onto my windows so I didn’t know that two of the roles were not gonna work well and that’s what really sucks because it took a while once I purchased them it took me a while to be able to put them up into my new windows so this is me leaving the review that the quality is inconsistent so just FYI, you may get a bad role you may get a good role for me. The first role worked great it does what it needs to do. It provides the privacy that you need during the day and that’s perfectly fine. That’s what I needed for the window surrounding my home office but then the other role unfortunately I had more trouble with getting it to stay without bubbles on the window and in addition to that also with the privacy part of it, it’s more translucent than the other role that I had so just FYI, you’re taking a 50-50 chance on it. The installation part of it. It talks about water soak, and it shows in the pictures this yellow squeegee to push out all the air bubbles, but unfortunately mine did not come with that so I had to use my own that I had from a previous purchase of a similar item to this. From the inside, it looks nice. It’s just from the outside when you look at it it doesn’t look as nice as it should and I installed for both windows the same day used Windex as that worked better than the soap and water, you can see left or right in my picture the transparency that I’m talking about.

Seems pretty good
I put up my window film the other day…and it seems to still be in place. I followed the directions provided as best I could, with exception to placing the peel back on the window as I removed air bubbles. I found it difficult to see what I was doing, so I just left out that step. However, I did cover my card in a lens cloth to protect the surface. You might want to figure this out yourself. My windows were exactly the width of my material. I over cut and trimmed as required. I found the trimming a bit difficult, but the wet barrier allowed for adjustment before trimming. I live in a very old house with wonky window glazing anyway. But I’m not sorry with the results. It’s a decent sized window and I did get a few pieces of lint between the glass and film. I’d say, it’s more noticeable from outside than in… easy enough for me to ignore. I cleaned off a years worth of cat nose smudges before application…so ya, I can live with it. Weird, as I’m a frame straightener. I chose the film range rated for indoor plants. I live in the PNW and definitely feel this is my best option even if it does feel a bit like a cloudy day. I get morning and evening sun that really heats up the house in the summer. Normally in summer, I cannot open my blinds before noon, so cloudy day film seems a better option than curtains for me…and the plants. Very happy I didn’t go with the darkest film. No air conditioning! I’ll see how this goes. I’ve also decided to film all the small window panes in my sunroom, the room normally gets too hot to use in summer, unless your a cactus. I felt like it was pretty easy to film the first window with, about 95% success, so I could do more windows. If your an average joe you can properly affix the film. Follow the directions. If i want absolute perfection I think I could have pulled the film, rinse, and gave it another go. Paying a professional is also an option. Prepare your window. I scraped as well as cleaned the glass and frames. A note: use plenty of water. It’s easy enough to card and release air and water pockets. Take care of film barrier plastic separation. If your tint film creases just a little it will stay. Set up a best lint free place to separate film. I did not and got some spots. Maybe, get a second set of hands so the film never has to touch another surface while working. Understand your standards and what you can live with. My window isn’t perfect, but it’s also not too shabby. If you cannot handle too shabby…

Satisfied customer
The ease of applying the tint to the window is excellent. The color looks good and the privacy it gives is perfect. Helps keep the rooms cool during the day.

Thick and it works
Very nice. Good blocking. When cut for one window, it was hard to peel the backing for the next cut.

looks ok from the inside, but absolutely awful from the outside.
I needed way sharper scissors to cut this properly. It did not stick on my window that great. I caved and just left it there looking less than ideal from the inside but not too terrible. I'm a little OCD, but it keeps the horrible sun out while it allows us to see outside. However, it looks AWFUL from the outside. Just awful. Not sure how to conquer that when it's mostly ok from the inside, and I can't exactly see both sides at once while installing. This is a bit thick, which makes it harder to static-cling so the bubbles I got out of it a few days ago are back again in the heat. It comes in a tight role, so I guess if you insist on purchasing make sure you can flatten it out a few hours before starting your project. If I had to get more I would but am unsure how I'd make the project go more smoothly (pun intended) other than sharper scissors which would lessen the man-handling of the plastic before application.

Didn’t work for me!
Bought two rolls hoping to cover kitchen window instead of blind. Scrubbed windows etc. followed the instructions but didn’t work. Just seemed to slide off.

Lo barato en ocasiones sale caro
La verdad es que me llevo con arrugas que después de la instalación no se han ido, bastante decepcionado con el producto. No Lo quito porque el final aunque no queda estéticamente bien, cumple con su función para filtrar el sol
