I love the smell of wood! These are great!
Bought some smaller, fake, cedar blocks at the hardware store. Paid about as much for eight pieces as these 24. These smell stronger, better. So glad you can sand them to revive the scent when it fades. They are smooth (& beautiful, too, but I love ❤️ all things wood--my Dad was a cabinetmaker, same with my grandfather, brother, & nephew!) with [two rounded] finished edges, so I am not worried they will snag anything. Even used them in a couple of kitchen drawers & cupboard where the prior tenant spilled some awful, smelly Pachouli oil into the particleboard 😊!

They are not that strong. I moved into an older home and wanted to get rid of that old house smell. I put cedar oil on them and could tell the difference.

Not a very strong smell
I was hoping for a stronger smell to these cedar blocks. It didn't last very long at all. I did purchase some cedar oil, and I have added some to the blocks.

Fragrant but not overbearing
Love these for my closet and shoe racks! Every time I open the closet door I’m greeted with cedar.....and that’s nice

Fantastic if it's confined to a small drawer or compartment. I used it to make a roof of a bird house. Smells great.
