It Makes My Sparkling Water SPARKLE!
This is my first experience with this kind of product, but I did try it in a couple of different uses. My Definite Favorite Is An Additive In Plain Sparkling Water (about 1 teaspoon): What A GR8 Way To Sparkle Up Your Sparkling Water!! My second use was in a Cheesecake. Sadly, This Wonderful Juice did Nothing for my cheesecake (had already added over 2 tablespoons, and too much more might compromise the recipe!). FOR MY TASTEBUDS: This juice is light, but flavorful. If you've Never had "first press", you would not know the difference between "second press". And while this juice is an Excellent SPARK to Sparkling Water, it's taste is a bit too light to do much to a Cheesecake (I was looking for a more lemon~ish, citrus~ish flavor). ALL I KNOW IS, IS THAT THIS STUFF MAKES MY SPARKLING WATER TASTE TONS MORE EXCITING TO DRINK! The cheesecake issue is for another time!

Seller, horrible but product, awesome.
The product itself is amazing.. I love it and have been using it for years. My problem is the company that sold it to me, this case Taylor's Market. I ordered it and arrived on time but it arrived opened. The cap was loose, the protective plastic was still on and complete. The cap being loose let air in and got in contact with the citrus liquid which of course over the time of the shipment it got an awful bitter taste. So my long wait was rewarded with a bitter oxidized product. I called the next day and complained about this and fully explained the problem and nature of my complain, they immediately shipped another one to replace it. A couple of days later he same problem arrived; Cap loose, product ruined. Very frustrated and disappointed, I decided to switch to another seller.

Waterd down diluted flavor
I always have Yuzu in my house, decided to give this one a try due to price and larger size but did not realized this is second press. Compare to other brand that are fresh press from Japan, it is far away from any yuzu flavor , literally tastes like water with a slight squeeze of citrus. Also has this after taste of preservative. Can't return.

A bit like lemon juice
Bought this because a longevity supplement had this in it so I thought why not. Tastes a bit like lemon juice. Wish it came in a glass bottle and not a plastic bottle.

I am a repeat customer
This is a high quality, high-priced Japanese product. Yuzu has a distinctive taste, and for those who love it, there is no substitute. On the other hand, it can be called a form of lemon. Ordinary lemon juice costs about $2.50 for a quart at US supermarkets, whereas this costs over $20 for one and one half cups. So, if you are making a sidecar cocktail with Courvoisier, Cointreau and this yuzu juice, the yuzu juice will be the most expensive ingredient in the drink. But it is delightful. On a recent visit to SE Asia, I saw high-quality individual yuzus, imported from Japan, for sale at about USD 5. The yuzu is about the same size as a Florida lemon. I have never seen yuzus offered at Asian supermarkets in the US. Apparently there is some restriction in importing them from Asia. But they can be grown here, and I hope some entrepreneurs will jump in and take advantage of the opportunity. The Japanese consumers are among the most demanding in the world, thay have a definite preference for yuzus over lemons, and this preference might be generalized.

I wish fresh yuzu fruit was available here in California
The juice was alright. It stayed fresh in my fridge. I used it to make yuzu lemonade and it was heavenly but the fruit is kind of expensive (having lemons and oranges and tangerines growing everywhere here in southern California, I would think that we could grow yuzu here too).

Second press yuzu juice!
Somebody else has already mentioned this but it is second press yuzu juice. It is not as strong as first press yuzu but it is significantly cheaper. For cocktails it's not bad since the second press has the bitters from the skin and rind. It still taste like real Yuzu but just watered down. I give it 3/5 starts since I am coming from tasting 100% pure first press yuzu. Still good to add for flavoring and the flavor is authentic, just not strong.
