Really sturdy and attractive piece, almost feel bad giving it only four stars for accuracy but to be fair, you can't expect to use this for all your kitchen scale needs, it doesn't give a detailed enough measurement. It does the job for basic measurements (anything in increments over 25g you'll be fine) and it really has a nice look to it. Check measurements before you buy, it's bigger than it seems. In all, nice piece, but for detailed measuring you may need something else.

This is a wonderful scale to set on your kitchen counter for everyday use. However, I'd only give it a 4.8 because the base was a little tweaked and it needed a DIY paper shim to sit flush on my counter. Not a big deal. Weights are very accurate, although if you are looking for precise ounce-by-ounce or gram measurements under a pound, you'll need a smaller scale. If you want to know if the fish you are weighing is 5 pounds or 5.1 pounds, this is the scale for you. If you want to know if you are cooking a pound of potatoes or 1.2 pounds of potatoes. this is the scale for you. But if you want to know whether you just weighed 27 grams of whatever or 28 grams, you will need something more precise. Love the easy-read face that measures ounces and pounds, kilograms and grams. Makes metric transfers and recipe conversions a snap. I'd buy this again or give it as a gift. Perfect for serious cooks and super-helpful for portion control when you are putting away prepared dinners or other bulk items to portion out for the freezer. My grandmother had this type of scale, it lasted her entire life and she started cooking in the 1920s. Retro Rocks!

Mi producto llegó muy rápido (de un día para otro con Prime) y bien envuelto (con bolsas de aire para proteger de golpes). Es muy sencillo de armar, así que en menos de 5 minutos ya está lista para usar. Luce muy bien; los materiales son sencillos pero se ven elegantes. Antes de comprar checa algunas cosas: 1) El tamaño para ser una báscula convencional es grande pero luce genial, así que sólo checa que las medidas queden bien en tu cocina. 2) Si vas a comprarla para medidas muy específicas tal vez no sea ésta la mejor opción pues por ejemplo de 0 a 100 g sólo hay cuatro rayitas: 0, 25, 50, 75 y 100 g entonces te da sólo un aproximado si requieres una medida intermedia. Si la utilizarás para algo de verdad muy minucioso es mejor una digital, pero si no requieres ser tan específico (a mi me interesa para deporte, medir las cantidades de mi comida a grandes rasgos) entonces está súper.
