Spurtar Feeler Gauges 0.001-0.04" (0.03-1.00mm) 32 Blades Tapered

I wasn't expecting a lot from these. I assumed a +/- .001 tolerance and that is what I got. They are not consistently over or undersize though. The .040" is .0406, The .010 is .0101, and the .001 is .0013. The ones I have are consistent, however along the length. If they are half a thou off at one end, they tend to be a half thou off along the whole thing. If you are expecting these to accurate to within 25 millionths, then you will be disappointed. If you accept them for what they are and use them accordingly, they can be handy. For example, I needed to set a .001 - .002 gap and at .0013 these gauges were perfectly acceptable. Mainly, I needed the narrow tip to it into a tight spot and that worked great.

A must have for the garage tool box. Needed to adjust spacing on the ac clutch and it fixed my issue. Easy to read sizing.

I checked the accuracy of about half the gauges with a Japanese Mitutoyo dial caliper. Everything was correct. I’m impressed considering the price.

Great for motorcycles,narrow enough to adjust valves

I bought these for doing guitar setups on my instruments. I did not need microscopic precision, and these are exactly what I wanted. I've read other review where people are complaining that they were covered in oil when they arrived. Well, YEAH...They're STEEL. They're meant to be packed and shipped so they can sit on a shelf for a couple years before they sell. OF COURSE they're covered in oil! If they HADN'T been and they came with the slightest amount of oxidation on them, the person complaining about the oil would have complained about that. I expected them to be oily. They weren't as bad as I expected. I opened the package, took a rag, and wiped them down. Then I used them. Easy as that. They work as advertised. They do what I bought them to do. I have no complaints.

Great set. A bit oily when taken out of the box but a quick wipe and they are all good.

Covers a lot of sizes up to 1mm and both imperial and metric are etched on the blades. Not stainless as some have pointed out but then it can’t be or it wouldn’t flex enough. It’s made with manganese steel which is rust resistant and allows the blades to flex but have hardening to not wear away so easily when sliding in the gaps. Coated with oil of course and I recommend spraying them with lanolin or similar after some use. They appear to be accurate enough when I used my digital vernier callipers on some blades. Good purchase.

Es sieht gut aus und es gefällt mir. Das Teil wird funktionieren. Gut das man es normal nur einmal kaufen muss. Man sollte es halt nicht verleihen , verlegen oder verlieren. Preis/ Leistung ist in Ordnung..
