Kick Men's Styling Cream

This product is amazing. I have tried so many different hair products that I couldn't list them all. I used Muk forming cream before this and I thought it was decent. They ran out of that product so I decided to try this. I was not disappointed. The scent is great but not overwhelming. It works like a forming cream and let you shape your hair. It doesn't harden your hair but does maintain the hold. There is no residue and it comes out easy. Also, it's a bargain for the price. After using the product, my hair looks awesome and it boosts my confidence. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to style their hair the way the want.

After using a lot of hair creams and gels from other brands, I couldn't find one that didn't feel greasy or make my hair stiff. Then I stumbled upon Kick's Active Hair Styling Cream, and figured that I'd give it a try based upon the description. Am I happy that I did, upon opening the bottle I was greeted with a clean, fruity scent and a very pliable cream. I was able to style my hair with ease, and after letting the pomade set my hair did not feel greasy, stiff, or dried out. An added benefit is that this cream will actually hydrate and moisturize your hair, and washes out cleanly in a hot shower. I've found that if American Crew Forming Cream or similar styling creams work with your hair type (straight/wavy hair), this pomade will be ideal. Overall, I'm very pleased with Kick's innovation and highly recommend it for guys who are looking for an upgrade from their existing hair styling cream.

Why is this a great product? First, it’s not sticky, it’s got a little fiber to it so it helps with thickness, and it’s consistent texture compared to American Crew Fiber cream. I was looking for a product that would hold my hair in place, but also be flexible. My hair is about 2 inches or so on top and this works great. It’s also the middle level of shine. Consistent with healthy looking hair. Try using a small amount first, around dime or smaller. You don’t need much. Maybe a little extra to use the sides and back. Now, the smell, it’s more fruity, maybe mango? it’s okay, not a deal breaker, however, I wish it was more aligned with the scent of the kick shampoo and conditioner. A fresh minty/tea tree scent for this paste would be absolutely perfect!

I've been jumping around from product to product. What I like about Kick is (1) Good consistency. My hair is not too stiff but still holds well. (2) The slight fragrance is nice. The price was a little high compared to what I have been buying, but for a few dollars more, I like this product better. I'm not locked into this product and only this product, but for now, I will continue to purchase.

I have hair around 5-6" long with the sides shaved (just enough to cover my ears if it's down); it's also thick and wavy. I started with the small amount rubbed in the palms as directed and worked my way up until it had a noticeable effect on my hair. The problem is, with such a small amount that comes in the container (about 2 oz filling one side of the container which was about half empty) I had to use quite a bit to get any amount of decent hold. This means this $13 container might only last around 2 weeks if I used it daily. I really enjoy the smell which is a slight grapefruit citrus scent (it took me a few days to pinpoint exactly what it reminded me of). Also, the hold only lasts about 3 hours for me before losing hold. For thin hair with absolutely no curl this stuff would probably be great, but it's not strong enough to control thick hair over a couple of inches. Again, I really enjoy the scent, it's fresh, unlike the musky cologne scent that is in a lot of pomades that try to cater to the bearded lumberjack crowd. So while I enjoy it, it doesn't work for me due to the short hold time and high amount of it I need for just a couple of hours of hold ( I can't imagine this creating an "All day hold" unless you use half of the container or have hair under 3"). After testing a few different brands and types of hair shaping products, this is probably my favorite smelling of all of them, but it needs to be much stiffer/waxier to really be worth the price per ounce.

I was looking for a hair cream that would provide a great hold all day and is easy to apply. I tried multiple products that left my hair feeling too greasy or too stiff. After much trial and error, I gave Kick hair cream a try and it has become my favorite hair product. It gives me exactly the hold and texture I was looking for. As an added bonus, I love the smell! Easily the best smelling hair product I have used. Overall, a really great product.
