Can you tell me what are the ingredients for the Papoutsanis pure Greek olive oil saop?

Sodium Olivate(Saponified Olive Oil) Aqua,SodiumnChloride, Citric Acid (a Natural ph balancer) since 1870 .. Tel# 800-11-987-987. I originally purchased this soap in Athens Greece...in 1996 in the Plaka. But being Greek, My mother has used it in our family for the past 90 years. It was our shampoo AND SOAP ... We never used store bought shampoo...Don't know when shampoo was invented as we never used it. Always used OLIVE OIL AND SOMETIMES OCTOGON SOAP WHEN WE COULDN'T GET OLIVE OIL SOAP IN NEW YORK CITY. 1920 - TODAY.

Has anyone ever used this soap as a shampoo? If so, what kind of outcome did you have?

Just this weekend I ran out of shampoo and used this as shampoo. I was not optimistic, because I have never had any luck with a bar soap as shampoo. What a pleasant surprise. I have naturally oily hair, and this soap left my hair clean, soft, and without residue.

Can this be melted for soap crafting

The smell of smoke is because Greece was on fire in 2019. The soap I bought from them before and after 2019 did not have a smokey smell.

Is each bar 8.8 ounces?
