I usually can fit into a large but prefer an XL in shirt to give it a loose feel. This item I ordered a 4XL and it fits me like a normal XL shirt/hoodie would. The product itself appears to be of good quality; the material is thicker than I thought it would be but still light enough to be comfortable in warmer weather. The stitching and buttonholes show good craftsmanship. When I tried it on it is extremely comfortable. My first thought was it would be ideal for lounging around the house or even possibly to sleep in. It would also make a nice cover up for getting out of the shower or at the beach to throw on over a bathing suit for when you want a break from the sun.

I didn’t expect much for the price but when you order something in a 5X you expect it to be pretty big. I normally wear a 3X shirt but this thing was tiny and I couldn’t hardly even get it on. Would not recommend.

Hubby wore this green and the tan one for a costume as an extra on The Chosen. It was nice and thin for the warm day and he said it was fine for the cool day too. He’s a mountain guy though, so you might should layer up and not depend on it for a ton of warmth. He also had on shorts and an outer robe. The quality was very good. I was tempted to get one for myself because the quality was so good. I added leather string to the top opening to be more authentic. I cut holes and there were no issues with the fabric ripping with the string moving around. Very satisfied. The fit was good, but we sized up. It’s a narrow fit and my hubs…..isn’t. I think the description says short sleeved but we ordered the long sleeve and they were a perfect length. He’s 5’10.

My husband is a 65 year old man with a high metabolism. During the summer months -even with central air conditioning in our home- he is too hot wearing even lightweight shorts and a tee shirt. By chance he came across this Kaftan Thobe Mens Short Sleeve V-Neck Linen Robe on the Amazon website and ordered one to see how it worked for him. He LOVES this item. We don't live alone so it's inappropriate to run around the house naked! And so, the lightweight fabric of this kaftan and its loose cut keeps him covered, but allows him to remain cool. In fact, he ordered 3 more. The kaftan is 100% cotton and shrinks some after washing but he’s short and it worked out. I highly recommend it for people who have a problem with overheating!

These run very small the size guide is grossly inaccurate. I got and XL as this is my regular size and my arms barely fit through the sleeves. I’m 6’1” 200lbs. It’s so tight it’s unwearable after washing. In retrospect, I would have got the 5XL first of all and never wash with hot water and never put it in the dryer. It shrinks at least two sizes. I had to pay for shipping even with prime and I have to pay for the return so I recommend using another seller. I do like the cotton fabric though. I just now wonder how tiny the dude in the pictures is. Go 2-3 sizes bigger than you usually would. If I would have seen someone say this, I could have saved myself the disappointment.
