I am a physician who has used Liv-On and homemade versions for over 6 years for our entire family. It is amazing and has dramatically reduced viral illnesses and their duration and severity. My wife had a total hip replacement and several of us have had injuries and surgeries and the healing time is often almost cut in half! Just in the last couple months we have tried the Core Med Science version and it seems SOLID! It has the advantage of being able to titrate your doses and have a stable shelf life (unlike homemade). I also like it is made from sunflower lecithin, which we use for out homemade version. This product is almost 30% less expensive than the Liv-On product and we a likely going to switch (I would like to ask the Core Med Science group if they can sell this wholesale as I am thinking about doing some health consulting in my retirement (I was involved in Clinical Trials for the largest central laboratories for over 15 years). We recently moved to Colorado and I have really helped neighbors (one recovered from an aggressive Acute Leukemia and others with joint replacements) in their recoveries (using our homemade version). As a pathologist with years of experience in clinical trial and diagnostic medicine, this is the best therapy for the general population that is still a secret for some reason. NO money to be made in a Clinical Trial of this unlike many of the therapies that treating symptoms rather than the "root problem" of an illness, especially viral diseases and healing from trauma.

I take these to get my daily dose of vitamin c. I feel a lot better when I'm taking these every single day. These are a gel capsule and rather on the large side so if you have a problem swallowing pills this may be difficult for you. I would say the pill is about 3/4 of an inch long and oval. I just make certain to drink some room temperature water before I take the pills and then after and that helps me swallow them with no problem. I do think they make my skin look nicer, and fight inflammation. I do feel like my skin heals faster when I'm taking my vitamin c.

Take it before eating for best absorption. Liposomal C is waay more absorbable than regular C. And the C raw ingredient used is NOT made in china; it is scotland-made. It is the best C available. Most commercial vit C is made using chinese C powder. China is known for impure products with contaminants like lead. This product's liposomal encapsulation and gelcaps are non toxic also, afaik. The absorbability and purity of C is very important for fighting illness, maintaining immune support, etc. I feel great after taking this... wakes me up and clears my head in the morning. (If you are going to drink coffee, take it AFTER so the coffee doesnt flush out the C before your bidy can utilize it!). Also, we find it is more effective than other Vit C caps, when fending off a cold by taking extra doses of C. Its good before and after travel too, to boost immune. I got no compensation or product or discount for this review... I am writing it out of enthusiasm because I find its results are markedly better than other C's. The cost is reasonable. I have lyme and clean nutrition plus quality supplements as directed by my docs are help me keep fighting. I found this product on my own, and my docs approve.

The manufacturer of this product was nicely responsive, and insisted to me that these capsules are truly liposomal and not merely an emulsion. However, I have been unable to find any independent laboratory confirmation of this. Hence four stars instead of five. I take 3 of these capsules (1000mg of C) a day, and have for more than a month now as I write this. It is uncertain whether I can feel any difference as a result of taking these (instead of grocery-store vitamin C), since I've made a few other changes recently also. There are certainly no negative effects I can tell, and I am feeling as healthy now as I could possibly expect. If I were a cancer patient, I would definitely use this product to take a megadose (12 grams - 36 capsules per day) of vitamin C to help drive out the cancer. If this is news to you, do some lookups on "Vitamin C doubles effectiveness"... and you'll see what I mean. Also, if you're not sure why you should use LIPOSOMAL vitamin C instead of standard pills, look that up too. But in a nutshell, scientists believe that only 20% of vitamin C in pills makes it into your bloodstream because it is water soluble while your intestinal lining is fat-based (think oil and water); liposomal C encapsulates the vitamin in a fatty sphere (made of liposomes) and makes it so 90% of the vitamin C gets to the cells themselves. I will continue to buy these capsules. ========================================= UPDATE - May 2018 - While the capsules themselves seem very good, the vendor is a pain in the patoot. Every time I purchase (repeat purchases), the vendor sends me an email asking if everything was all right and begging me to write a review. The last three emails I have received from them, they promise this "...is the last email we will send :-)" Ah, if only that were true. I am not going to subtract a star from my rating of this product, because the product itself is worth what I gave it. But the vendor continuing to annoy me with repeated emails sure tempts me to do so. CORE MED, are you listening?

I like these bc they're liposomal softgels. My elderly Mother takes one a day to strengthen her immune system. Liposomal means they are have potential to be super absorbent which is great for her digestive system. Also the softgels are easier for her to swallow compared to a hard vitamin. Overall, she stays in great health for 98 yoa, and I believe partial credit should go to these excellent quality vitamins.

I had never heard of Liposomal Vitamin C before, but noticed it when looking for some chewable Vitamin C tablets. Between last Friday and Saturday I came down with a really bad sore throat with thick sinus drainage. The glands in my neck were swollen and achy, so much so that my jaw and rear teeth hurt. I ordered this on Saturday and it was delivered the next day (thanks to prime delivery). I took 3 capsules daily for 3 days - Sunday, Monday, and today (Tuesday). This evening (Tuesday), my neck glands are no longer swollen and achy, and I have no sore throat! And my sinus drainage is 98% back to normal. I’m totally convinced that this product is the reason for my quick recovery! I am around quite a few people at work who are coughing with the flu and I will continue to take these Vitamin C pills daily in the hopes of not catching anything else. Great product! It does seem pricey, but if you divide the cost be 3, the resulting monthly cost is not that bad.

I haven't taken this product very much yet but I am quite pleased with its quality as a supplement. For one, the carmel coating is quite tasty (just don't give into the temptation to chew it) which makes taking the capsules to be quite easy vs. having to taste the nasty coatings on some other pills I've taken. In the little I've taken so far, I've found that I seemed to have good energy and focus throughout the day. I'm looking forward to trying it for a longer period of time to self evaluate its potential effects. I probably really should be getting more vitamins in my diet, but as I get adjusted to a more healthy diet, this supplement is nice to have on hand. The importance of vitamin C for functions (among others) like collagen synthesis (and thereby tissue integrity) and wound repair stand out to me. It's interesting that this product has a liposomal method of delivery to enhance absorption, which seems to stand out among other vitamin C supplements. While I'm not educated in too much nutrition, it is an area that I find interesting, and I appreciate that this supplement is engineered to provide this better absorption to prevent too much of the vitamin C from being excreted out of the body.
