NO SOY! I've been using this product as a traditional mayonnaise substitute for a year and never looked back. For anyone who loves real mayonnaise with pure ingredients, but also likes a bit of tang to the taste, then this is a superb version worth trying. Being very soy-sensitive, I discovered this brand when I could no longer eat soy in any form in any food or vitamin/supplement product. Unfortunately, soy is in almost every packaged or prepared food found in boxes, bags, cans or jars at the grocery store. More than you probably realize. It's cheap and plentiful and can be used in a variety of ways. You can't escape it in baked goods, snack foods, vitamins and supplements, and on and on. It's pretty disappointing for someone like me (and maybe you) who is allergic to it. What are the alternatives? Well, there aren't many for alot of foods, but there are other choices for mayonnaise. None that I like, except for this one though. Bonus points to the brand for adding mustard to the ingredient list for that extra tang. I always add mustard to my mayonnaise anyway, especially when making tuna salad. That extra flavor and zing makes all the difference in the taste. My soy allergy also extended to all brands of 1000 Island Dressing, which is my go-to choice, and I was stressing out when I also discovered that literally every brand and flavor of all salad dressings contain soy as the primary ingredient. Then I learned that 1000 island is extremely easy to make at home. Now that Trader Joe's discontinued its non-soy version of mayonnaise a year ago, this is the only brand I like and use. The ingredient list contains Avocado Oil instead of Soybean Oil. Avocados are extremely healthful anyway, and I love the taste of the oil in this product. The full ingredient list is: AVOCADO OIL EGG YOLK WATER DISTILLED WHITE VINEGAR COCONUT PALM SUGAR LEMON JUICE SALT GROUND MUSTARD GARLIC POWDER ONION POWDER EDTA (Preservative) The 15 oz jar is the only size and not that generous if you use it alot. It lasts longer for sandwiches than for instance making my 1000 island dressing. It may be on the pricey side, but well worth it for taste and ingredient preference. The texture is creamy smooth, if a bit thinner than traditional mayonnaise. There can be oil separation, like with organic peanut butter, so you may need to stir it before use. The product comes tightly sealed with a cover under the jar lid, so there's no way to tamper with the contents or get a returned jar somehow without knowing. Regular mayonnaise has a sweet smell, while the tang of mustard and spices come through in this version, so don't think there's something wrong with the contents if it smells differently than regular mayonnaise. I live in LA and the product arrived the next day: well-packaged in a shipping box that protected it from any heat exposure during delivery. It arrived in perfect condition, fresh & creamy, and looked and smell great. I mention this because some recent reviews commented on rancid, separated, old or smelly product. Not sure where they live, but my product is as it should be and looked the same as when I buy it at a store. Even if you have no dietary or allergy restrictions, I think most people would find this version tastier than traditional mayonnaise. It blends as desired in any recipe. I was searching for a healthier version of mayo and I am so happy I found this. It is a great pantry find. It is really pleasant tasting and we feel so much better knowing we are using a product that uses good oils. Amazon has always been my most trusted platform that has a wide range of products and provides very good items and very good service.

This is a very good mayo. To me the only detractor is the sweeter taste. I very much prefer less sweetness in my mayo. I prefer savory - think Cupie Mayo from Japan - do that flavor!! But, this mayo has awesome ingredients. They get an A+ for ingredients!! Overall, I am eating their mayo. And will finish it.

I love this mayo because of the clean ingredients and I use it frequently. The store where I usually buy it stopped carrying it, so I ordered it here. The mayo is normally good for a year or so when I buy it in stores, so I purchased 4 containers expecting them to pay for a long time. When they arrived, I found that they all expire in a little less than 3 months, which means they've been sitting on the shelf for a long time. Even worse, the contents of one jar had completely separated, so that it looked like a jar of oil. I shook it vigorously to see if it would return to a usable state, but now it's just an extremely low viscosity liquid (picture attached). In this seller's defense, the consistency of the other 3 jars are what I would expect from this mayo (picture also attached). In short, the mayo is normally great, and I am sure the other 3 jars are up to my usual expectation. Just be aware that they may have an expiration date sooner than you would get from purchasing it at the store. And as for the oil separation, I have seen that happen with this mayo from time to time, as is expected with natural ingredients, but it is normally just a small amount of separation at the top, and you can stir it back together with no issue. Complete oil separation, rendering the jar unusable was a first for me. It is probably better to play it safe and just find a store that sells this mayo and buy it there, because it really is good stuff, hence the 3 stars despite the lessons learned from this purchase.
