I bought two of these as Christmas gifts. One for my 11 year old son (in the event of a zombie apocalypse), who has wanted his own small knife, as a rite of passage I think, and who will be blown away by the fire starter and water straw. And one for his father who has everything and is impossible to shop for, but is also a guy who will definitely appreciate this kit as a whole, and finds himself in enough inconvenient situations that I know at least a couple of the gadgets will get good use. The waterproof bag alone is AWESOME, great design. I opened both identical survival kit cases and confirmed that the compasses are accurate, fire starters spark, knife is manageable even for someone like me who fears such sharp objects. Since it’s delivery I’ve received a couple of messages from the distributor which have me convinced that he stands by his product and would eagerly assist any customer. I plan on getting a kit for myself as well in the near future. I feel really good about this purchase, especially because I know how well received it will be. The 5 star rating stands regardless of one improvement I think should be made. The flashlights don’t include batteries. I can totally see someone in a dark bind gratefully reaching for this kit to shed some light and discovering an empty, useless flashlight. Even if you know you need to get batteries, how high is it on your list of priorities until you actually need the flashlight, right? I highly recommend this survival kit, and I highly recommend you plan ahead and put batteries in the flashlight.

This kit is good for anyone who interested in some survival gear. It includes everything you could possibly need in terms off grab-and-go situation. My personal favorite is the little bucket you can use to collect the water if you had to or you can use it as a dry sack for carrying your most valuable items. The other stuff includes a compass reflective blanket fire starter a small knife and ect. Stuff is a good quality and especially consider its include water filter system the price is very reasonable

Really liked this kit i go fishing and camping alot alone most of the time and i have used almost everything in the kit the straw filter works very well i have used it when i dont want to drink out of my own canteen just so i can conserve more water the saw rope works good too easy to carry and works perfect for cutting up branches To start a fire, the compass well as for those of you that know when your out hiking or looking for those secret fishing spots i like to use a map and a compass for that accurate sense of direction, the knife and flashlight well that is just a plus the flashlight works really well nice a bright and small and easy to carry overall it is a great kit i really liked it i could really depend on this if i needed too and hope the rest of you adventurers like it as well too!!

I live in California and there is news about a big earthquake expected soon. I've been worried about not having a water supply for my family if a disaster were to happen and water was not attainable. I was so glad when I found this kit with a water filter straw that I can take anywhere. I was skeptical on how well it worked, so I took it down to my local park. I put it into the fishing pond and it really works! I've used it a few times now while hiking with my kids. Would definitely recommend. Would also make a great gift!

This kit is amazing definitely something ill keep in my car when I go hiking and for every day life. You never know what might happen haha its nice to have everything like a knife and the water filter. I actually used the water filter a few days ago while I was hiking and WOW! this thing really works!

I bought this kit to send to my daughter and her fiancé, who live on the Virgin Islands. Since the hurricane two years ago I've wanted to start a "bug out" bag for them. Within the first week of receiving this kit....the power went out and they had no matches or lighter to light candles. My daughters fiancé used the "flint stick" to ignite a Q-Tip on fire....thus they were able to light the candle with that. Both have stated they were glad I sent them the kit as it has most everything they will need in an emergency.

All of the items included in this kit are really good quality. The knife is sharp and sturdy , the dry bag is made from durable waterproof material and can hold many more items than just the toolkit. The water filter comes wrapped in a sealed package. This survival kit has a little bit of everything , just what I was looking for.

Really love having this! It is the perfect time to go camping and I take it with me everytime. I give the compass to my daughter in case she wants to go explore with her friends she can find her way back. They enjoy it!
