Old Style Plastic Needles Work Best!
I had purchased several different pkgs. of plastic yarn needles for use in making rag baskets. However, all the newer styles were very difficult to use, as they would not pull my material through the small openings in the baskets. These old-style Boye needles were just what I needed and work far better than any of the newer styles I'd purchased before. Sometimes, older is still better!

Boye makes great products.
LOVE Boye products! Will use these to make canvas Native American dolls and angels for gifts. Great finish on needles. Smooth and durable. Blunt end is perfectly shaped with no rough edges to snag. Glide perfectly through openings in canvas. Eye opening is perfect for various sizes and types of yarn. The yarn needles I also ordered worked perfectly. Have repeatedly purchased those since I lose and lend out some. I am 78 yrs old and have used Boye products since I was 10 yrs old including yarn needles. I have used other brands but Boye is my favorite. They last and perform like new forever.

I love this pack of needles and have ordered several to keep stocked up in both sizes without breaking the bank. They last me forever, I've used the same one for over a year...but I always have backups in case they get lost.

Be Gentle
Works great. A bit weak though, it almost broke a few times, you have to be very gentle when sewing thicker yarn.

Not sharp
That's needles are great yarn darners. The eye is nice and big. Do note that if you plan to use them for something other than weaving I in the end of your knitting it plastic canvas (as per the description), they are not sharp, not even a little. Blunter than tapestry needles. They are a metal version of the plastic needles you give kids.I only gave them three stars because one of them corroded after a week of use.
