This camera is GREAT on battery life but very frustrating in every other way. It records video and audio for 30 seconds during the day but only 15 seconds at night. For some this may be sufficient but it left a lot to be desired for my purposes. about 80% of the time it would come on and record and just as the animal was coming into the frame or about to do something we wanted to see it would shut down. I am a very disappointed that there is not an option for longer recording times.

The Moultrie Game Spy M80-XT Infrared Flash Camera is probably the best buy for the money out there right now. After a bear destroyed one of my cameras in the late summer I researched the available economy cameras on the market for a replacement. Unless you can afford the high end cameras costing two to three times as much, this camera should serve you well well. Please keep in mind that my thoughts on this camera are based on only three months of use. The daytime pictures are especially bright and clear with good color; night time photos are great with a bright, adjustable, infrared flash to the adervisted 90 feet. Trigger speed is adequate; battery life is good. Programming is intuitive and the case is compact. I would buy another one if the need arose.

I've had this camera 3 years, so I feel like I have plenty of time with it and can fairly review it. It lasted just over a year before the color of the photos went to south. Daytime photos have a weird red hue no matter how I position it or have the settings. Night photos are normal. I would not buy this again or suggest anyone buy it.

We ordered this camera for the purpose of filming trespassers and our property, The camera arrived and we immediately contacted Moultrie Feeders, The problem was the Cd Stalker program that came with the camera for loading onto your computer was a 3.5 inch disc our computer did not have the ability to use this size disc, secondly the program was written for use on a Windows based operating system, our computer is a new IMAC. Spoke to customer service regarding this, she was nice but could not resolve the issue and you could not speak top anyone else. Why did I buy this item with such poor customer service and total lack of universal application used being addressed by Moultrie. the world does not just function around "windows". then the situation was stated about the battery tray, they have a tiny little protrusion for you to pull the tray out to place the batteries into. They problem is it probably works great for a female with long finger nails but for use by a male with big hands and fingers it is useless. She thought this was funny, i did not. Have to wait to see how the pics look after a week or so out in the bush, Could use several more cameras but will question buying this brand again

I purchased 3 of these cameras to capture photos on our hunting property and all have functioned flawlessly. During the hunting season last year we left the cameras on for a solid 4 months checking the photos every two weeks, as I hunt in the Florida panhandle and hogs are abundant it wouldn't be uncommon to have 600-800 photos PER camera, every two weeks. During this time frame I have not had any issues and all photos have turned out great (both night and day). I pulled them out post season for about two months but since have placed them on game trails for pre-season pics and they're working great. These cameras have experienced torrential rain storms, scorching heat and humidity, and the occasional cold spell (for Florida) and continue to operate fantastically. I highly recommend for the price.P.S. My buddy has a Reconyx and these seem to take comparable photos, I do not believe you could tell the photos apart in a side by side comparison. The price however is no comparison as I bought all three of these for the price of his one Reconyx.

This hunting camera is great! Not only did my husband use this to scope out hunting options at his camp, but we also set it up to watch the comings and goings of our cat through her little cat door - that was absolutely amazing! The camera works very well during the night and day, and it is easy to use and very dependable. Great product!

Camera was reviewed by "Peterson's Bowhunting" magazine (Sept. 2012 issue) I chose camera based on review. I'm satisfied with the camera.
