I have been using the oven to sterilise jars and bottles and found that ordinary oven mits were not up to the job. They may have handled the heat but I needed a firm grip. These gloves are ideal. They feel a bit heavy when you wear them but that gives confidence that they can manage the heat - and they certainly do that very well. They grip onto the large glass jars extremely well so I am able to bring them out of the oven nice and hot knowing that I wont drop them. For the price these are brilliant - you can get cheaper oven gloves - but these are well worth the extra you pay. I wont be burning myself now!

These gloves are just as described, very durable, good size and easy to use. You can use these for oven or bq and they seem extra safe where they fit on each finger it makes picking up hot things more stable. Where they are a good size I use them easily and so does my husband who has much bigger hands than I. I will also be using them for our wood burning fire in the winter. Will definitely recommend to friends and family

Keep heat out but too bulky & not really fit for women unless got large hands

Needed these as winter approached slowly i needed to prepare myself well as this means oven food will be come more and more common.In the last two years i had different pairs of oven gloves however they didn't last so long as the quality was cheap and it was a corner shop type buy. However these have been the ultimate buy for myself.First of all for the price i think this is a great deal, especially for the amount it is not a problem and i wouldn't buying another pair for this price.these are comfortable to wear and use when i am cooking i can comfortably keep it on for one hours before having the urge to remove them, so they do the job well.They fit my hand easily and i was shocked as i have medium sized hands so it was a pleasure. They also act as great grips.

Look very good, feel that they should be very durable but obviously need much more time to know from experience, but certainly seem to be vg value for money . Experience of heat resistance vg so far.

Having tried cheaper ones than these (that didn't work!) I wondered as these were such a good price if they'd be the same - but they're not, they're really good! I needed them for heat-sealing bottles and trust me when you're holding a bottle in your hand and the heat source blowing straight on it your hands get HOT - but these work perfectly - my hand didn't even feel warm...........really impressed!

Does not handle the temperature that is says it does. I use a cast iron skillet and almost burnt my hand thinking this would have no issues with a skillet on an electric hob

Zunächst für alle die es Interessiert, 932°F entspricht 500°C.Die Handschuhe sind also für alle haushaltsüblichen Tätigkeiten geeignet. Ich benutzte sie hauptsächlich um Dinge in den Backofen zu stellen und wieder heraus zu nehmen, dafür eignen sie sich super. Anders als bei Topflappen muss man hier keine Angst haben abzurutschen oder mit der Handrückseite an etwas heißes zu stoßen.Die Noppen der Handschuhe sind auf beiden Seiten, jeder Handschuh kann also an jede Hand gezogen werden.

Die Handschuhe sind perfekt zum damit Grillen.Bei unserem Weber Grill kommt beim öffnen der Haube schonmal 300°C heiße Luft raus. Mit diesen Handschuhen ist das aber kein Problem. Auch kann ich damit das Grillgut viel besser umpositionieren als z.B. mit einer Grillzange.Den Rost damit anzufassen ist wahrscheinlich keine gute Idee und ich denke nicht, dass die Handschuhe das überleben würden.
