Valrhona Chocolate Manjari 64% Feves - 2 lb

Absolutely delicious chocolate to use for my homemade carmel filled chocolates . Took them to the next level! Also, I live in south Texas…it’s 96 outside and my chocolate arrived in perfect condition with cool packs provided by the seller. Very impressed it wasn’t a melted mess! Will be purchasing again soon

Ordered Valrhona feves from Caputo’s which is out of state. They did a great job packaging the chocolate. I was on a tight deadline to bake a dessert and my package was delivered on a hot 93F degree day. Wasn’t home so the package was left in my yard for an hour. Very well insulated and relieved to find the chocolate in perfect condition. Will definitely order from Caputo’s again.

So these are delicious! But i get why some may not appreciate the flavors. This isn’t the typical flavor you are use to. These has more complex flavors of fruit, mildly sweet and bitterness, my spouse said slight smokiness (in a good way). If you are expecting traditional chocolate flavors or cheap Hershey like flavors you will be disappointed. But if you want a more complex chocolate flavor that’s delicious then you will appreciated these.I don’t know how this will work in my bake goods, but I’m looking forward to experimenting with these. I don’t think this would work in like a chocolate chip cookie though, If you are into chopping up some good chocolate instead of using chips, but I may try it in a jumble cookie. But probably best for cakes and pastries and such. But I’m no expert, I’m just a 🌱 home baker. Best

Very disappointed! Purchased as this chocolate is rated very high, even though very expensive. The date on the bag was written on, not printed, so product may have been old.Cookies looked great until the next day and chocolate turned white! I know Valrhona chocolate is supposed to be a better chocolate, it may have been the company purchased from.

I am a dark chocolate fan and I came across a gourmet cookie recipe which takes 48 hours just to prepare the dough. And this chocolate was the perfect match for the cookie recipe. I made 4 dozen to give away to friends. They were so delicious, I kept them all. Great, high quality chocolate!

I've been making chocolate candy with grocery store brands, but decided to splurge with this. Totally worth it! I also decided to grab up a 3 kg. bag of the same kind. Lovely taste, easy to work with, pure delight!

My personal favorite of all the Valrhona. Unfortunately the 2 pound package arrives with all of the individual Feves melted into several lumps making it tougher to use.
