Great headset for broadcast
Coming from the BPHS1 the difference is night and day. The BPHS2 is way more comfortable and the mic sounds a bit clearer than the BPHS1.

Best in class microphone, and serviceability.
The microphone is absolutely top notch. I work away from the office. No one knows I'm at a hookah bar, or restaurant, or coffee shop. These were built for a sports stadium and there is absolutely 0 background noise. That's half of this review. The other half is serviceability. The cord itself is ungodly expensive: almost $70 if you ever have to get a new one. However, the ear padding and head padding is modular. Because of this I've replaced all of my headsets with these. After throwing away 5 pairs of M-50s with 0 resale value because of bad padding, I'm very happy to have a headset that I know I can service. This pair on my head has seen more time away from home then any other pair of headset I've owned. And they look brand new with new ear cups and a new head strap. That said, it's the same cheap fake-leather Audio Technica uses in all their other products. But now, you can replace it! $10 for a new head strap, $15 for new ear cups.

BPHS1 is Better
Unless you want a little less lower mid on your voice, there's no reason to go with this mic/headset. The BPHS-1 is a better build, more comfortable (with breathable ear pads bought separately), and actually sound a bit better on my voice. For some voices, this set may sound a little better, but the on-ear headphones are not very comfortable and I haven't found replacements for them. The BPHS-1 is a better product and is less expensive.

Awesome sound
This headset is awesome, however the pads need replacing after a lot of use (the exterior inevitibely flakes and peels off).

An upgrade to the outstanding BPHS1
At 82 years old my voice isn't what it used to be so I wanted to see if this headset would make me sound any better than the BPHS1. It does. Not a dramatic difference, but definitely better.I also found a good deal on a used Sennheiser HMD 26, and it a little better than the BPHS2. Not a dramatic difference, but definitely better. These are definitely the best headsets I've ever used. Like they say: You get what you pay for.

After (almost) a year long use
Was very skeptical how I would feel like an on-ear headset coming from the m50 and various other over-ear headphones in the same or nearby price range. Headphones basically sound like I bought the m50 all over again with some very comfortable on-ear cups. The mic is hands down the best I've ever heard from any headset, rivals the quality of the Senn's everyone in pro sports/esports broadcasting uses and is a clear upgrade over the first gen BPHS headset! I thought about getting the first gen for a long time until I saw these come out and decided to take the plunge. It's very pricey, but you get your money's worth for a headset that you should be able to use for decades to come. Absolutely wonderful for live streaming on Twitch and mixer, recording, chatting with friends, etc. This one's a keeper for sure. 5/5

Great Headset; Iffy Cable
Was due to replace two of my BPHS1s so decided to try these out. For the price difference the sound quality is not miles beyond the BPHS1 or anything, but the build quality(of the -headset- at least, will get to that), is fantastic. The form factor is also great, they wear more comfortably and are easier to pack than the BPSH1s. The mic direction change swivel being upwards rather than downwards like the BPHS1 feels a lot more smooth and intuitive. The stock earpads were a bit to adjust to as the cups are much smaller than the BPHS1s, but they are infinitely more comfortable than the stock ones on the BPHS1.Sound-wise I'm not exactly an audio engineer, I use these for commentators while livestreaming competitive gaming events. The high end sounded a bit harsher than the BPHS1s and needed to be EQd down a bit, but the overall sound seemed more full and bright and annunciation sounded very clear. I think the sound is great; not so much better than the BPHS1s to warrant the price difference if you're strictly worried about having clean commentary audio, but I think the combination of the sound and the overall improvements to design and build quality do warrant the cost difference. The detachable cable is great in terms of packing and traveling the headsets...except the cable on one of the two BPHS2s that I ordered died pretty much instantly. I tested both headsets to see what kind of EQ differences may be needed versus the BPHS1s, everything worked great; I detached the cables, wrapped them up exactly as they had shipped, and packed the headsets away until the first production I went to use them at. The first time putting them into use, one of the two cables had only the headphones work and not the microphone. It was definitely the cable; when swapping the other cable between the two headsets both of them worked perfectly with it. Taking a star off for it; I'm sure A-T customer service will make it right and replace it when I have time to contact them over it, and overall the headsets are great, it's just very annoying to get less than a single use out of a $350 product. I'll now also have to spend extra on $70 a pop spare cables out of being forever paranoid that they're going to crap the bed right when I need them for a show which is less than optimal, but I'm going to chalk it up to being bad luck and not the norm given how good the build quality is on the rest of the headsets.TL;DR:Pros:-Sound great-Massively improved design/form factor/build quality over BPHS1-Easy to travel with-Comfortable to wear-Detachable cable is convenientCons:-Significantly higher price than preceding model-Detachable cable may or may not instantly breakOverall happy with the purchase and would recommend them for people looking to put on a professional-sounding production that have the funds.
