I have a mountain bike and don't like the look of saddle bags, so I use this to carry a small backpack filled with extra water, a dry T-shirt, a mini battery-operated air compressor, and a tool pack. When it's hot, I don't like wearing a backpack. I use small, adjustable bungee cords to secure whatever I'm carrying. I chose the 22 lb version for two reasons - one, I'll never need to carry even close to 22 lbs and secondly, I prefer the minimalist look without the extra bars and brackets attaching to the frame. It's more of a clean, streamlined look. It's also much easier and quicker to install and uninstall it when there are no other brackets. It's very lightweight but built well. But don't overload it, as a lot of stress is put on it when riding over bumps and ruts. It was shipped bubble-wrapped in a heavy envelope and arrived with no damage. The tray is adjustable - but that doesn't mean the cargo area extends, it just means you can slide the tray closer or further from your seat. This is helpful depending on how high your seat is. If you look at my photos, I have it extended almost as far as it can go (away from the seat). If I positioned it closer to the seat, there wouldn't be enough clearance for my backpack. On that note, you will need a decent amount of seat post available to install the rack. The height of my seat provides plenty, but check your situation before ordering. If your seat is at its lowest height, this will not work for you. When you install it, make sure you use the thin rubber spacers inside the brackets. It prevents marring the seat post but more importantly prevents it from shifting or rotating around the seat post. Also when installing it, first tighten the Allen screws until just firm, but not tight. Then, alternate tightening each one of them further, a little at a time. This gradually tightens the bracket to the post evenly and prevents the screws from loosening due to different levels of pressure from each screw and causing the rack to shift (for those that are aware, it's the same idea as tightening car lug nuts in an alternating pattern). I am happy with this and recommend it so far. NOTE: I purchased this item on Amazon for full price and have no affiliation to the seller. Awesome does exactly what it intends. Screw quality is great. Fit is universal and includes shims so no problems there. Great value. Included instructions but not needed lol straight forward install.

it didn’t fit my E bike or frame however it was made well, sturdy and stable, it was pretty easy to put together. Unfortunately, I had to put my bike seat really high in order for it to fit, and that made it uncomfortable and un rideable. Good quality product. I just wish that they put a list of compatible bikes

So, I specifically bought this rear storage rack to hold my blind cane. Yes, I'm vision impaired, but no I'm not completely blind either. Anyway, I would've given it a full 5-star rating except that no matter how much I tighten down the mount that connects the rack to the part of the frame that connects the rider's seat, the rack swings laterally when I ride. It's very disconcerting to think that at some point, it could end up sideways with the potential to really hurt someone either on the road or on appropriate places like trails or paths that are set up for bicycle riders. I would've preferred getting the upgraded version that has the rack attached to the rear of the frame called the seat stays (I think that's what it's called) to give the rack more stability and less lateral movement when I ride, but at the time, I could only afford the base model. Hell, I can still only buy the base model for a replacement. At least make a model in which those "struts" or reinforcement bars can be attached to the base model. Unless the manufacturer themselves could tell me if there is a way to do that with said base model.

Sturdy and reliable. You get what the description provides as expectation, and the setup is easy and fast. I wish it extended just a bit further, but that is a personal preference and I am somewhat weird that way, so overall, great product. Consider it.
