I'm quit impressed w/the Thunderobot Radiant (16) Intel i9-14900HX, Nvidia RTX5080, Gaming Laptop performance. I purchased the model w/just 16 GB of memory, w/a 512 MB SSD. I already have 64 GB of memory, as well as a 2 TB SSD, which I plan to upgrade it to, saving some money here. Before doing so, I installed and ran Star Citizen, which automatically set all the maximum settings during the installation, w/just the 16 GB of memory installed, w/o it crashing, which is not normal when done on other systems. I suspect it was due to a lack of any installed software running in the background, such as an Anti-Virus, and other worthless installed junk, that isn't included on the Thunderobot systems, which normally gets automatically installed on most systems now-a-days, and which eats up memory resources like crazy. Everything seems to be of high quality when it comes to the hardware such as the case, keyboard, and display. So far no issues what-so-ever.

This is a good and powerful laptop, I use it to run Photoshop and Lightroom on it, no games. It is fast, although I expected a bit more compared to my last one, which had an i7 and 3060, not i9 and 5060. The laptop stays very cool and I rarely hear the fans, usually only when I apply Denoise or copy masks to many photos. Even then, it stays cool. It doesn't get nearly as hot or loud as my last MSI Creator 16 laptop. I like the separate numbers pad and full size cursor block, which are very uncommon for laptops, but have to admit that it needs a bit getting used to, as the main keyboard is now slightly off center. The bundled Thunderobot Control Center is useful and easy to use, not intrusive. I also like the keyboard touch and resistance, good for writing. What I don't like so far are the speakers, they are very crummy, they should have left them out for a smaller design. The laptop is heavy and very thick. What I really dislike are the protruding ridges on the bottom, which makes it thicker, rough and not very pleasant to sit on my lap. I understand that these improve cooling, but even if I put a soft blanket between laptop and lap, it stays cool. The touch pad click is very loud, but it also works with taps. Battery life is underwhelming at only 1.5 hours when fully charged.

I use it for running photo software. No problems or issues in the first month whatsoever.

DO NOT buy this hunk of junk. Works for about a month then deteriorates quickly. Wifi receiver went out within 75 days, a few keys gone in about the same amount of time, and slower than most 32GB machines I have had in the past in terms of benchmark performance. I would also recommend not purchasing on Amazon - customer support is abysmal for incidents like I experienced. Half a day I will never get back for zero result.

Works great for a brand i never heard of. Had it running for two weeks and no glitches. Display is great. Price for the features is very competitive.

Never heard of the company but I took a chance off of other reviews and I’ve been extremely happy so far! Great quality, perfect for my type of gaming. Very impressed!
