I got this because it is supposed to contain high amts of C:15, which I hope it true. It seems very salty. Is it the real thing?

Slightly over 1kg wedge. It arrived packaged with 2 cold packs that were melted but cool. The cheese wasn't melted, but it wasn't cold (it's still summer, here). It was vacuum packed, though, so I'm sure it's fine. I chilled it in the refrigerator for a few hours before dividing it into 4 wedges to freeze. I did eat a small chunk before wrapping in plastic wrap. Quite good! Perfect amout of salty and fatty/creamy. Earthy and a little sharp. I think it will make a better sauce than the Locatelli brand that isn't stocked at the local grocery anymore.

This is great tasting pecorino romano. I have ordered it 19 times in the last 3 years. However, it used to be advertised as 2.5 lbs. I was shipped cheese that was only 2lbs and the seller gave me a partial refund. Then on my next order, I got 2 lbs again, but this time noticed that they had changed the description from 2lbs to "2 lb to 2.5lb approximately". This makes no sense because the price is the same whether they send you 2 lbs or 2.5 lbs. That's ridiculous. Basically they are making extra money by shaving off a 1/2 lb of cheese. I will not be ordering from the seller again. I'm done.

Fast fresh delivery, not understanding the issue of quality from other review, this is a good fresh kilo of Romano that you cannot get at a local supermarket. I split it up in 4 PCs and vacuum seal. unless you’re ok with spending $7 for a 1/4 lb of who knows what quality I recommend this.

Why have photo of item if what you get is not the same? Wheel depicted but you get a slice, just say so. Also, says returnable but you can't
