Don't waste your money!
Tripe! What are the Lessins after here, a fast buck? Poorly written, redundant, unedited, wrought with grammatical errors, bad spelling, copy and paste trash. Third grade writing, contradictory, juvenile at best. Expensive garbage. Do yourself a favor, if you are new to the subject of the Anunnaki, read anyone but this author. Read Sitchin's material or scholarly translations of the Enuma Elish or Robinson's translation of The Nag Hammadhi Library. Hastily thrown together with bad graphics. It is as if the Lessins put this series together in their basement. The authors should be ashamed of themselves. Embarrassing.

Our True History
This was not my first lesson into the theory of the Anunnaki, but this book certainly breaks down the information & events into a simple way of understanding our "True" Human History. A Must Read and I believe all schools should be teaching our children this information. The theory of the Anunnaki is difficult for many people to accept, as it goes against all the Western Society has taught us and our religious beliefs. After 3 years of my own research into the Bible, Ancient Civilizations and the Sumarian Tablets, this Theory becomes our True Reality. Do Not Be Fearfull! Read this with a open mind, relate events & individuals with characters of the Bible and you too may too be awakened!! Un-fortunately we live in a society that is not based on truth & honesty, Instead, many of us live according to greed, ego & fear. This keeps us Prisoners to our hierarchy, keeps us limited & under control. We are mistaken as to our origin, the evolution of man, and our True History and events that brought us to where we are today. Stop living in the dark!! Free yourself from the chains that bind you!! Read this and be who you really are, step into your own divinity.

Sloppy, disrespectful of reader intelligence
I want to give this book a ZERO for it's poor presentation. I can't believe this fellow puts a PhD after his name. If he submitted papers this badly written, with sentences not even completed, I can't believe they would have been accepted for credit in any graduate program. He says he was chosen by Sitchin to be the one to carry on Sitchin's work. Yet Sitchin's website has no mention of Lessin that I saw. The haste With which this book seems to have been put together suggests a race to cash in on this particular version of the Annunaki story. Since this book I've found other thinkers who have well researched & thought out ideas that don't necessarily buy in to this "official version" poorly presented as it is.

MYTHOLOGY IS REALLY HISTORY RETOLD AND RETOLD.
Concise review of the work of Sitchin. Could use some more editing; however, the meat of the book is right on with the new theories of how we got to be and the history of the earth based on new translations of the old Sumerian texts. I remember reading them when I was in my 20s at college. I found them fascinating then and even moreso now that we know so much more about technology, aeronautics, geology, astronomy, genetics, etc. It is high time that we process the new knowledge and realize that so much of our animosity has been set in motion by these facts of our history. I first recommend that anyone curious about this subject should real all of Z. Sitchin's work, and then read this as a great little review book. I intend to pursue further reading of the authors and researchers and scholars he mentions in this book.

As an intro to this topic, or even to those only somewhat familiar with ZS & this topic, this would not be a good choice as it could easily muddy the waters & or completely turn off a newbie. However, if you already have a solid understanding of the topic, it can act as a strangely concocted extremely fast & skeletal summary of sorts with it's most redeeming quality being quite a few good "new" pictures relating to the story. Be forewarned of shocking & glaring bad spelling, run on & repeat sentences & broken paragraphing all over the place. I purchased this book with the idea that ZS in some way blessed the effort, and that it would therefore be aligned with ZS standards. Not so. After just a section or two, it became clear this idea was fantasy on my part. While I can imagine ZS appreciating the interest & desire of the author here, I cannot imagine ZS endorsing this as a continuation of or an adjunct to his work. Bottom line, I'm not returning the book & now that I know what to expect, I might even try another effort of this author to give it another whirl in the future.

Disappointed
Managed to read the material within this. Nothing new. Basically it looks and reads like a cut and paste job of sitchens earlier works. While sitchens work was mind blowing when I first began studying it I am now beginning to see the flaws as well as understanding how his own biases were tainting his work.👎

Very Disappointing & Naive...
It just doesn't cut the mustard for me...The majority of the content is okay, as it's a condensed summary of mainly Zecharia Sitchin's work, with the addition of a few other scholars works, such as Michael Tellinger. However, the author has blatantly not put enough of his own insight/research into the book, especially when Dr Lessin has an anthropology PhD (The book could be classed as a rip off to be fair!). As it seems that Dr Lessin has just taken all the juiciest bits out of mainly Sitchin's work, & glued it all together in some kind of chronological order, thus, it reads as a dairy, rather than a concise history of the Anunnaki. Don't get me wrong, I believe we will probably never get the exact true history of the Anunnaki, for obvious reasons, however from reading such works on the subject from authors like Lawrence Gardner, & Christian & Barbara Joy O'Brien, I think this book is severely lacking research, evidence & intellect...An annoying thing for me was how the author mentions on the back of the book & in the introduction that Sumerian "god"/Anunnaki royal, Nannar = Allah, the Muslim god, yet there is no other mention in the book about how & why he or Sitchin came to that conclusion, in fact, there is no other mention of it at all! And there's no explanation either for how the other Anunnaki royals are related to various other deities/gods that Lessin mentions. I think the author should have explained how he or Sitchin came to those conclusions, especially if he's going to accept & portray them as true. The worst part of the book is the poor quality; it's such a poorly produced book. For a start it's an A4 sized magazine, the pictures are taken from Google images, & so some of them are so dark & grainy that there is no point in them even being in the book (don't be fooled by the colour images on the "Look Inside" feature, as all images in this book are grainy black & white images from Google), & whoever did the proof-reading for the manuscript, definitely needs to go to Specsavers, that's if any proof-reading was done at all, as there are literally tons of typo's throughout the book...For example: At the bottom of page 127, "Then Abraham moved to block Nabu & his Earthlings armies advancing on the..." Then you turn the page & a new chapter starts! You don't get the end of the text!?!This book is only worth a read if you're looking for Zecharia Sitchin's basic story of the Anunnaki, but due to the lack of depth, authors insight, & the poor quality of the book, it's definitely not worth £11 quid!*Update... Google: "Sitchin is wrong", the first website you'll come across will put you straight about Zecharia Sitchin's work. I mention this as this book is mainly based on Sitchin's work, so it might not be the best book for researching the Anunnaki/Anannage/Anuna.

Love the cover on this book
Love the cover on this book. Fascinating reading even if you don't subscribe to the Anunnaki, Sitchin viewpoint.Dr. Lessin presents it in a more friendly way. Tons of illustrations to add to the story, well presented and thought provoking.

Not so good.
Not well written and if the reader hasn't some knowledge on this subject it would be confusing.
