Received a 100psi gauge, which worked to my advantage.
I ordered a 60psi gauge to use as a replacement on my home water line, and even though the box was marked 0-60psi, it contained a 0-100psi gauge. This turned out to be fortunate, because it revealed that my home water pressure is 86psi, which is probably why my previous cheap, plastic 60psi gauge failed. I also discovered I have a faulty water pressure regulator, as adjusting it had no effect on the gauge's dial (but turning on a tap did instantly). So for home plumbing use, I'd actually recommend the 100psi gauge.Back to this gauge review - it's heavy and solid. Only the front bezel is shiny, but the whole case is metal. The face is clear and easy to read. It was easy to install with a little teflon tape (not included) on the threads, and it seems to function perfectly. My only concern is a sticker that says to cut the rubber nipple on the top after installation. I don't think that's a good idea, as others have noted the glycerin may leak out. So far, I couldn't be happier with this gauge. And because it's made by an industrial instrument company, I suspect it will have a long service life.

Sturdy reliable gauge
I had bought a (more expensive) plastic gauge that lasted one year. This metal one is tougher and has a longer stem so it's easy to plug into the pool filter. Works great!

Ideal gauge for a well and pressure tank setup
Replaced my well pressure tank's original failed gauge with this one -- appears to be high quality, and was an easy installation. Would be nice if the gauge came with more glycerin fill, or if a small bottle were included in the package, as the air bubble from the factory is quite large. I topped mine off with some glycerin out of the old gauge which did the trick, so now my gauge is technically partially composed of post-consumer recycled content. Just doing my part!

Great Quality. Glycerin Bubble May Interfere With Reading Gauge
I purchased this to serve as the air pressure gauge on my offroad tire air-up/air-down manifold. In use, the gauge will be held at about a 30 degree angle. At that angle, the glycerin bubble meniscus sits directly over the tire pressure range I'll be using and interferes with reading the gauge.Pros:- Beautiful quality. Feels heavy in the hand. Threads are clean and well formed. The stainless steel bezel is really nice.- It has a brass relief pin on top that can be pulled up to equalize pressures after installation.- The 0-60 psi range allows for more precise tire pressure measurement in the 15 psi to 32 psi range.- The glycerin is nice and thick, so it doesn't slosh or create excess bubbles.Cons:- As is the case with most liquid-filled gauges, there's a significant air bubble. In my case, this bubble interfered with quickly reading the scale in the 15-20 psi range. Sure, I could hold the gauge at a different angle, wait for the bubble to reposition, and wait for the glycerin to flow out of the way, but I don't want to deal with that when I need to quickly read the gauge. Consider this drawback before you determine if this is appropriate for your application. It's a great quality gauge but it would sure be nice if Winters would fill up the gauge with glycerin as much as possible (to the limit necessary to allow expansion) so that the air bubble is as small as possible.

In my experience, these PFQ gauges are MUCH better than the PFQ series.
I'm a sucker for anything that's built better than some other similar product. It breaks my heart to have to do the same repair work over and over. With that in mind, the Winters PFP series of gauges seem to be much better built that the Winters PFQ gauges. I've had them both and if longevity is as important as accuracy, the PFP is worth the extra money. Too many PFQ pressure gauges have failed on me. I'm sold on the PFP series.

Accurate and Great Value
I had some trouble finding an easy-to-read and accurate water pressure gauge. This 160 psi scale is perfect. Very easy-to-read and very accurate based on other gauges I used for comparison (I ended up buying 2 others before I settled on this one). I will be using this gauge mostly in a household setting so will be reading in the 40-60 psi range. I purchased the Measureman GHT adapter to connect to the 1/4" NPT.
