Willow - Retro Wood Bluetooth Radio, AM/FM - Espresso

This radio looks great and sounds great. The bluetooth is excellent. After 5 months it developed a hum that only stopped when it was unplugged, even if the radio was turned off. The Amazon return policy had expired, but I made a warranty claim to the company directly since their warranty was for a year, and after a bit of positive correspondence to get the info, they sent me a replacement. The new radio works great so far and I am very pleased with their professionalism and support. Highly recommended this company and product.

Fantastic. Works beautifully. Well-constructed. Aesthetically it's great (the branding is unobtrustive and anyway doesn't like like the hot garbage you see in most — "Jiloahwl" in Comic Sans or some such. Physical knobs are so nice. The sounds quality is great, bluetooth is painless to set up, and *critically*: it doesn't make any annoying announcements when turning on or when switching bluetooth to a new device — another mainstay of basically all of these radios on here. My one complaint: It needs leveling feet, because it doesn't sit stably on an even surface. I'm trying to fix this with a shim.

Ordered the Victrola Retro Radio/ BT receiver last night at 11:30 P.M. and go t it at 8 P.M. tonight. Great service! Unpacked the unit and was very pleased by its retro looks - simple yet beautiful. Wanted to buy it in the walnut color but opted for the Espresso since it was on sale - no regrets. Ready to use right out of the box - all you do is connect it and you're set. There are two minor quirks on my unit which are not deal breakers but may or may not be present on other similar units. I was tuning the radio to my favorite FM station (105.9) and did not find it on the 105 section of the dial but on the 107 section - odd. The Bluetooth takes a little longer than expected to sync with my I Phone 13 but no big deal. This aside I was blown away by the sound which is full and rich through all volume levels without distortion in my opinion. Nice, crisp, clear sound. I listen to mostly classical music but do listen to other genres as well and i am sure the unit will do it all justice. The bass=treble knob was a a great touch - I found that keeping the knob in the middle yielded the best sound balance but admittedly this is my personal taste. There is a wire antenna on the back but I saw no need to unravel it as the reception was perfect as is. So to sum up this is great little unit to have anywhere in your home (so compact and lightweight you can take it from room to room). As mentioned above i was blown away by the sound quality for such a small unit - the price may seem high but it is worth it. If this is what you are looking for do not hesitate - you will not be disappointed.

Beautiful,good quality, and workels well. It looks so vintage , we just love it. However.... Ours is in a small living room and if we have the kitchen sink or dishwasher running (open concept small condo, the kitchen sink is 15 feet away from the shelf this speaker sits on in the living room) , we cannot hear podcasts or music lyrics well as it does not get loud enough . Love it for background music , we just got another small sp aker for closer listening in the other rooms

Happy with this purchase! Just looking for something to play my music on around the house, that also looks cute on display. Radio feature is a bonus in case I want it. Sound is good and feels good and solid! I'm using it plugged in so I have no input on battery. Video with red light on is radio. Easy to setup!

Awesome gift, look and works fantastic!great value and sound

This exactly what I was looking for. For transparency I bought this for my library for audiobooks. I wanted a vintage look and sound, which is exactly what this gives. The sound is slightly muddy like an actual older wood cased radio. That specific type of reverberation lends itself well to the voice acting in audiobooks for me. Do you want this for music? No probably not. Maybe if you like jazz, folk, think pre 1970s for tonal quality. The album folklore lives for this speaker. Are you going to dropping bangers with sick bass lines on this with satisfaction. Zero percent. However if your chasing the hIgh of a radio presentation of "1984" in your moody lair, this is it. Also worth noting: Mechanically satisfying knobs. Good volume for 1 room. It's a plug in powered, which is expected, because this beauty isn't formed to be a shoulder slinger. Tuning radio is nice because the knob has good resistance. Feels solid and resilient, I have good hopes it will survive my toddlers. Don't go drop testing it. You know better.

Great vintage looking radio. The sound quality is ok but not the best. But, it’s got the look I was going for. I would purchase it again but I do feel like it’s a little bit pricey for the quality but i’m satisfied with it overall.

Prise non européenne. anglaise sans doute => franchement, quand on vend le produit en France, la moindre des choses c’est de le préciser. Du coup il faut adaptateur. C’était un cadeau, je n’avais pas, bref c’est rate. Le prb des achats en ligne par rapport à un magasin

I really like the overall quality of this radio. It is simple to use, attractive, and has terrific reception and tone. The construction appears quite good but the finish is not wood but plastic that does resemble wood. It is a neat package and its compact size does not take up much shelf space yet still allows for good sound quality. I also like that you can choose between three different sources and can adjust the tone to suit what you are listening to (it has a good bass sound which enriches music very nicely). It is a worthwhile purchase and, in my opinion, fully deserves five stars based on appearance, sound quality, and function.
