Absolutely dangerously sharp.
The quality of these hooks is legendary already. I'd like to add to it, but in my opinion these are the best hooks money can buy. Light saber sharp out of the package. Clearly well-engineered. I have used and will continue to use Gamakatsu as long as they keep making hooks. When other hooks fail these are just starting to get used.

For the price, you can't beat it! I love the octopus style hooks for cat fishing as they self-set when something takes the bait!The largest hook (1/0, red) is almost an inch and a half long and slightly over an inch wide if anyone needs an idea of their overall size. These come very sharp, and very sturdy. Will certainly pick up another couple packs when i run out!

This is a nice set of hooks to toss into your tackle box if you fish for cats...they are as described, Gamakatsu are always good quality hooks so you can go wrong.
