I turn to GENESIS 1: 29; We are designed to operate on whole foods.
At age 82 and seeing my brothers and sister to the left and right of me fall because they cannot find their balance; because they are not eating WHOLE FOODS. Our LORD designed us to eat whole foods. Out nutrients are in the food that come from the ground. Yes the same food that the horse and cow eat - that is where they get they get their protein and nutrients and you just get protein and the cow used the nutrients to fight off disease. Read the OPERATIONAL MANUAL see what we are designed to eat. IT IS WHOLE FOODS - THIS IS IT - WHERE GOOD HEALTH BEGINS. The nutrients of ANCIENT GRAINS are wonderful. Cooking With a Sense of Grain
This little book is packed with useful info and recipes for using ancient grains. But don't expect to find every grain that's recently raised its head - Kim lists specific grains on the book's cover, and those are the ones she covers in the book. It's easy to read, practical, and very educational without being dry as a textbook. Now that I know more about them, I've started incorporating many of these grains into my 'traditional" recipes, with good results so far. The largely vegan recipes Kim gives are adaptable to those of us who want to include milk, eggs, and meat in our meals.

Helpful but not indepth and few recipes
Wanted more recipes for side dishes. Needed more cooking options and details for different appliances. Just needs a bit more.

absolutely worth the $$, you won't be dissatisfied lots of tid bits in there, I found useful! I started buying all her books-they are excellent Check out the one on coconut and kale HIGHLY RECOMMEND BOTH! Thank you and god bless
