most powerfull car charger you'll get, i myself used anker products for every purpose...can charge your iphone 5s to 7+ / samsung s8 instantly within 20 mins time to 80 to 90%...all 5 ports gives same output whether charging with one port or more....amazing !!!

Slow charging compared to boat or other local fast chargers

Been using for about a month now. Easy plug and play. Compact and fits anywhere. All 5 ports work well simultaneously.

Two ports are working, when i add third or fourth current starts flickering.

The product is very useful & handy too. Its appearance & looks are good too.

I have had three Anker charger units. The reason I've had three is, my kids 'borrowed' them and I never got them back. They were all great. In my car, (I drive for LYFT) I needed a few more connections, and my friend Stevie Browne of course recommended Anker once again. Don't know why I didn't think of them first! This unit is excellent: The power outlet in my car pops out right next to the coffee cup holder, but there's flexibility in the line and the plug's low-profile enough that I can use the cup holder again. The cabling is sturdy, and the adhesive pad provided is doing an excellent job mating the charger to my dash board. I run five to seven hours, with all five plugs in use, with no heat build-up, blown fuses, or any other such trouble. And the charging seems FAST for my LG phone when it needs to be FAST, so I am completely satisfied. ANKER, ya done it again! Now I just have to make sure no one pilfers it from my car....

Do you have a family of devices needing power in your vehicle? look no further, this USB car charger delivers the ports, power and flexibility. I bought this because we were going on a long 19hr car trip and needed to power three iPads, a phone and a mobile WiFi movie streamer. I was skeptical having 5 devices with three of them being iPads charging off one unit. This charger worked flawless and actually charged all of the iPads. I really liked the long cord on the device, it allowed me to place it in-between the seats so the kids in the back and the equipment in the front could all reach using regular Apple power charging cords. The charger never got hot or smelled and I used it for 10hrs straight. We use it all of the time after the trip in our van. I highly recommend this vs those little crummy charges with two - four ports sticking out of the power socket (also know as a cigarette lighter for old school people).FYI, the mobile movie streamer I referenced is the RAVpower Filehub plus. I have a review of that item as well, great thing for trips.

All in all, this is a good charger for my vehicle. Charges well and seems to be durable. It looks nice too.My reason for low rating is the mounting adhesive quality was poor. When I opened the packaging I was pleased to see the adhesive. I pealed the protective paper off the double-sided adhesive, placed it on the back of the charger and cleaned an area on my instrument panel to attach to.I placed the charged onto my instrument panel and it immediately fell off. There was no dust or oil on my dash, so I tried again... same thing.I looked at the charger itself. Since the adhesive pad was pretty much ruined, I saw that the pad was not adhering well it the actual charger.Upon closer inspection, the body of the charger had a very thin coat of something on it (perhaps oil or something used in the finishing/cleaning) that would not let the adhesive adhere.Please understand, this is a good product and I would be willing to give it five stars based on its performance, however all stars less than five are due to the poor adhesive.(The attached photo shows smears of the film that was on the item.)

This is an excellent charger. I've had it for about 18 months and its worked perfectly from day one. I originally bought it to charge my OnePlus 3T in the car because I didn't want to buy a single DASH charger just for my phone, which is the proprietary charging technology that comes with the OnePlus phones (its similar to Qualcomm's quickcharge, and can provide like 85% charge in 15 min). I wanted a charger that could charge more than just my phone, so I researched the specs on the DASH charger and found that it provides a charge at 3.5A. The documentation on this Anker charger seemed to be saying that the PowerIQ could provide up to 10A on charge total and would detect how much amperage your device could take and provide the max, up to 10A total on all ports. I don't know if that's actually the case, but the charger will charge my phone VERY fast if its the only device plugged in. It does exactly what I was hoping it would do.
