Tomb Raider (2018) is a terrific action movie that packs stupendous setpieces and an extremely awesome background score by Tom Holkenborg. Alicia Vikander looks superb throughout and is alone worth the money. Adventurous from start to finish Tomb Raider (2018) is a quite enjoyable home theater experience.The steelbook is a really nice addition to my collection packing both the 3D and 2D editions of the movie.Picture Quality - 4/5Warner provides a beautiful picture here showcasing London superbly along with the lush greenery and the waterbodies of the Jungle. Skin tones are fine and contrast done right. Sharpness too is top notch - no complaints. Only issue is that during the final chapters the scenes are too dark, so much so that a lot of fine details seem to be crushed. Otherwise its a pitch perfect presentation.Audio Quality - 5/5After ruining the Indian release of Justice League I was really scared whether Tomb Raider was going to suffer the same fate. But thank God that's not the case here. The Dolby Atmos track (Dolby TrueHD 7.1 core) is every bit terrific as it can be. Keep in mind the default track here is 5.1 DTS-HD MA. Make sure that you switch the audio to the Atmos track before playing the movie. Because this one is a beast. The audio is room-filling and often revolves around the listener creating an immersive 360 sphere of sound. Dialogue is clear and the surrounds always active giving the action sequences life like quality. LFE is bombastic shaking everything up specially in the Tomb sequence later in the movie. Demo worthy audio on this disc is sure to please fans and audiophiles.Highly recommended!!

Action packed thriller.

Excellent movie. Saw the 3D version. Will see the 4k disc with Dolby Atmos again. Alicia Vikander has done an excellent job. Movie brings to life Tomb raider games. Very well shot , nice locales , realistic and plausible fights for survival. Scene with aeroplane wreckage poised over a river is especially good. The shipwreck scene is good too. Stunts are amazing. Has some emotionally charged scenes too.

I don't like

I'm a Tomb raider fan so obviously I liked the movie very much. Good packaging, Blu Ray is sealed and brand new, delivered on time. Thanks to Amazon and Excel innovators.

Excellent movie all the way through.

This movie is great to watch in 3D. The quality video is amazing.

Seeing the negative reviews I was hesitant to get the blu-ray 3D version. Nope, excellent details, lush vistas, no problems at all. Beautifully rendered in glorious 3D: towering mountains, spooky deep jungles, marvelous mansions, crowded absolutely real city chase scenes, and on and on. For the 3D only it was well worth the price. And the script was not in any way weak. Sure, it touched on "tomb raiding" tropes, but at each step throughout there was an unexpected and dazzling twist. This was all the way an "A"-quality giant movie, with powerful acting throughout, particularly for the lead character. Hopefully we'll see many sequels.

Product came in a timely manner. Price was decent. I just wish they wouldn't make the dvd cases so flimsy. I get it company's are trying to save money on material. Overall I enjoyed the movies story. Adventure, Treasure Hunting and search "Why Am I Here".
