I recently decided to switch to dark brown. My natural color is dark blonde/light brown and I have a lot of gray peppered through. I followed the directions and primed my hair with color prep first. It was so easy and my hair is super shiny and the color is gorgeous!

This particular product helped the natural hazel adhere to my roots and hair. Something to know about the whole line- it can look great until it doesn't. Color needs to be repeated at least every 2 weeks to keep it looking vibrant and not skewing red orange or red purple. Figure out up front if you are warm or cool toned (you may be surprised) and plan for time with one of the aforementioned colors. However still worth it, my hair looks good and I am getting the hang of it. The company has a new AI color quiz which made me figure out the above combination.

Horrible MUD no results

This product deposits gold tones onto the hair. It may appear colorless on dark hair, but not on lightened hair. On a platinum blonde test strand, Senna deposited gold tones. In the attached image, the left strand is platinum hair treated with Senna. (The middle is one application of Sunrise Blonde and the right is two applications.) I do think it has health benefits to the hair by coating the strand and if going darker to a more yellow blonde is a goal then this could be a healthy way to do that.

Uso erbe tintorie da anni e la Khadi Senna/Cassia è una delle migliori scelte quando si vuole rinforzare i capelli senza modificarne il colore. La polvere è fine, si miscela facilmente e crea una pasta liscia che si applica senza fatica su tutta la chioma. Il risultato è sorprendente: i capelli diventano più corposi e resistenti, la fibra appare più liscia e compatta, la lucentezza aumenta in modo naturale, senza effetto “finto”. È perfetta anche per chi ha cute sensibile: non pizzica, non irrita e lascia una piacevole sensazione di pulizia profonda. La uso spesso per “rigenerare” i capelli tra una tinta vegetale e l’altra, oppure come trattamento rinforzante quando sento la chioma più debole. Moi qui ait les cheveux bouclés et fins, ça m'évite de faire une couleur vegetale sur mes longueurs et j'ai plus d'épaisseur et mes boucles sont gainés (pose 15mn pas plus). Je suis ravie.
