Very sturdy product and ease of switching on and off sockets independently

I bought this as a replacement after my previous unbranded extension lead suddenly lost power in the middle of a PlayStation game. This one has been completely reliable so far, with no unexpected cut-outs or other problems. The four plug sockets are useful for a gaming setup, while the mixture of USB-C and standard USB ports reduces the number of separate charging plugs needed. The 1.8-metre cable provides a reasonable amount of flexibility, and the main switch makes it easy to turn everything off together. A practical extension lead that has given me much more confidence than the random one it replaced.

What I liked about it! 1 - 4 sockets + 6 USB ports, reduces clutter and saves plugs. 2 - Smart USB charging which auto-detects device power needs. 3 - Solid build quality, durable cable and fire resistant casing. 4 - Surge and overload protection for improved safety. 5 - Good value for money compared to buying separate chargers. 6 - Ideal for laptops, chargers, lamps, tablets, and day to day electronics. 7 - Individual socket ON/OFF buttons. Cons! 1 - Not suitable for high power appliances like kettles, heaters, etc. 2 - Usb Charging is not fast charging, so bear that in mind. 3 - Plus socket space not great, not easy to take out a plug from socket if the socket next is also in use. 4 - Not designed for continuous heavy-duty load usage. Final Verdict! A reliable and feature packed power strip that’s perfect for everyday devices to reducing desk clutter. As long as it’s not overloaded with high-watt appliances, it performs excellently and feels safe to use.

This extension lead is definitely one that is keeping up with the times and changing power needs of people in this day and age. It's got all the plug sockets and USB sockets that I need to power all the items I need it to power and was my primary reason for going with this one. The four power sockets are spaced out well enough to fit bulkier plugs without blocking each other, and the inclusion of the six USB ports (four USB-C and two USB-A) are what makes this an excellent solution for modern day power needs. I’ve been using it to charge my phone, tablet, and wireless earbuds while still powering my laptop and a desk lamp, all without a single problem. The second most important feature that made me get this extension lead over others is it's ability to allow me to power off each socket individually. This lets me turn off the items I need to turn off, and most importantly, lets me keep on the devices that I need to be powered 24/7. The built in surge protection definitely gives me some deal of confidence in the product, especially when using it for expensive gadgets, devices, laptops, etc. I think the 1.8m cable length is pretty standard on extension leads, and it's certainly long enough for what I need it for. I haven’t noticed any overheating, even with multiple devices plugged in. Everything charges at a decent speed, though the USB ports aren’t high wattage fast chargers, but that’s expected for a power strip. Overall, it’s a well-designed extension lead that handles daily charging needs brilliantly. It gets five stars because it’s well-built, has plenty of USB ports and power sockets, and lets me control each socket with a dedicated power switches for each port, including one for the cluster of USB ports.

Under a year old and started overheating eventually dangerous as one lead was too hot to touch.Definite fire risk if I hadn’t noticed a burning smell.

I have been pleased with this extension lead so far. it is an attractive device that came packaged well and feels build to last. Having multiple chargers and USB leads without wall plugs I was in need of a device like this. In my lounge I have a socket behind a shelving unit so its not the easiest to get to. I also have my printer, laptop chargers, tablets and phones chargers stored on this unit. This extension lead allows me to attach all these devices and various USB charging cables, avoiding the need to transfer USB plug adaptors from one room to another. It has also avoided me having to purchase multiple USB wall plug sockets. I like the fact there are individual power switches for each socket so I don't need to keep my printer or laptop chargers constantly switched on. The ports have been spaced well which allows you to connect and disconnect multiple USB leads with ease. Having build in safeguards which prevent overheating and overcharging should give you peace of mind when leaving your device plugged in for long periods of time. The wall charger is also capable of supplying up to 2.4A per USB port so can quickly charge applicable devices. It even has Type C ports, which were a big selling point for me as all new devices tend to be Type C. Time will tell how good this extension lead is, but for the time being I am pleased with this purchase.
