This is exactly what i was looking for. Fast power-up, easy to use. Minimal buttons, which makes it easy to use while driving and never having to look at it. Couldn't be happier.

I bought this recording device for my PhD qualitative research work. It has worked very well. The quality is clear and excellent. As soon as I am finished with one interview, I am able to upload it to my Google Drive so that it can be shared with my transcribers. This device is uncomplicated and it does what I need it to do. I highly recommend it.

It does exactly what it was designed for. The tiny screen is useful for play and record as well as setup. As you would expect for such a tiny device, the speaker sounds tinny. Head phones help the sound quality. There are no tone adjustments. The manual is in English and is adequate for understanding setup and function of the device. It outperforms anything in it's price class and several more expensive devices. It seems to be durable. The first thing I did (by accident) was drop it on a ceramic floor. It worked fine.

I was happy with this little recorder - until I went to retrieve my files. I had recorded several important moments, including my elderly father recounting some of his military experiences for the first time. When I stopped recording, the file was there. I could play it back. When I went to download that evening - it was gone. Gone. Vanished. Not there. Something irreplaceable was lost by this POS. I was pissed.But, I had a week left to my visit. I used it several more times. Always, when I got home in the evening to transfer the files, some where missing. It seemed random what was lost, and what was kept.Don't subject yourself to the loss I experienced. Steer clear of this item. You won't regret it.

I bought this recorder to use in a research study I am conducting with patients. The first day it went ok but this morning I did an interview. It showed it was recording fine, just like the other times but when I tried to upload this particular interview on my computer I get an error. The file is 0kb. Even when I tried to listen to the interview on the recorder it doesn't work either. I can find the interview on the recorder but when I press play it shows "file not supported", which does not make any sense since the interview was recorded on the recorder.

Good quality and sound for the size. It is smaller than I expected so reduces ease of use on the controls if you have fairly big hands. Having said that I'm very pleased with it. But for fitting in a pocket or handbag it's unobtrusive and should give you very good recordings. the wife uses it in her lectures, does whats it meant to do. When she gets home she just connects it to the laptop and copies the file to the laptop to play it. I would well recommend this to any student etc.

This is very small and works great! Is very small and you can put it in a small purse or your pocket. I highly recommend this!
